Six weeks ago, four Ukrainian Eurovision and national final stars took to the dancefloor for Tantsi z zirkamy 2021. However, now only three remain, as Jamala became one of the latest contestants to be eliminated from the show.

MÉLOVIN, Oleksandra Zaritska and Dmytro Kadnay all remain in Tantsi z zirkamy, Ukraine’s edition of Dancing with the Stars.

Jamala eliminated from Tantsi z zirkamy 2021

Eurovision 2016 champion Jamala has delivered a varied set of routines on Tantsi z zirkamy. For week seven of the competition, the singer performed a hip-hop style dance with her professional partner Anton Nesterko.

Dressed in neon yellow clothing, Jamala certainly stood out on ballroom floor as she brought a level of swagger that we haven’t seen from her before.

Unfortunately, the pair’s performance didn’t do enough to win over the judges. Jamala and Anton were awarded 29 points out of a possible total of 40. This put them in last position on the leaderboard.

After the public at home had a chance to vote for their favourites, it was revealed that Jamala had the lowest combined total of points from the judges and viewers. Thus, the Eurovision winner was eliminated from the contest.

MÉLOVIN, Oleksandra Zaritska and Dmytro Kadnay in week seven

This week, Eurovision 2018 star MÉLOVIN danced a rumba alongside his partner Elyzaveta Rusina. Despite once again finishing relatively low on the leaderboard, the singer was saved by the public vote.

KAZKA’s Oleksandra Zaritska has had a bit of a rollercoaster of a journey on Tantsi z zirkamy. After finishing joint first in week three, the two-time Vidbir contestant found herself at the bottom of the leaderboard in week six. However, Oleksandra rebounded in the latest episode and delivered a fiery Paso Doble. Finishing joint fourth, Oleksandra was also declared safe.

Week seven of Tantsi z zirkamy saw a double elimination take place. Whilst Jamala was initially eliminated after the judges and televote points were combined together, the other couples in the bottom three were sent to the first dance-off of the season. Sadly, Dymtro Kadnay was part of this, even though his contemporary routine put him joint second on the judges’ leaderboard. Fortunately, the past Vidbir participant was ultimately saved by the judges and will also progress to next week.
