In October they made their U.S. television debut on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. And now, as we all dig in to November, Måneskin have celebrated their debut on U.S. daytime television with comedian Ellen DeGeneres.

Ellen, who is marking the final season of her show, introduced the band by highlighting some of their remarkable recent achievements.

“Our next guests are an incredible Italian rock band whose music has been streamed over 3 billion times,” she said. “They just opened for The Rolling Stones. They’re amazing. Performing their Number 1 song ‘Beggin”, give it up for Måneskin.”

As ever, the band displayed their glamorous, nonchalant style. Damiano wore a sequinned body suit which featured major flared bottoms and a form-fitting upper.

Drummer Ethan and bass guitarist Victoria De Angelis both opted for snug black trousers with silver embellishments. Vic teamed hers with a matching silver-studded bra, while Ethan went for a sequinned black top that caught the light with each and every smack of the drum.

Guitarist Thomas Raggi joined the sequin brigade with a shirt, but kept it largely hidden beneath a ferocious tiger-print suit. The animal was definitely on the loose in Los Angeles!

While rubbing shoulders with a queen of American talk was no doubt memorable, it’s likely not as memorable for the band as opening for The Rolling Stones at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas over the weekend.

Honouring their American audience, the band slipped into red, white and blue body suits that nodded to the American flag. They felt right at home in the 65,000-person capacity stadium as they sang their songs across English and Italian.

The band shared a snap of themselves backstage with rock legend Mick Jagger along with an effusive caption.

“What a night. Thanks @therollingstones — best memory of all time.”

What do you think of the band’s recent performances? And whatever could be next?! Let us know in the comments box below.

Hate Ellen but it’s good for them to promote. I understand that the label is pushing Beggin because it’s a hit in US now, i’d love to see MammaMia and Slave getting a nice push though.

Variety has a wonderful page/interview dedicated to Måneskin.

Not a fan of Ellen. She’s terrible. I hope she didn’t treat Måneskin as horribly as she’s treated many of her other guests.

Maybe Nikkie warned them what to expect.

I imagine the Americans watching Maneskin on Ellen thought Beggin was an original song and not a cover.

Also it seems like ever since Maneskin won Eurovision, both they and their fans have completely forgotten about Zitti e buoni and are obsessing instead over other songs like Beggin and I Wanna Be Your Slave.

American here. My sister isn’t into ESC at all (like she didn’t even know that Måneskin was in ESC, let alone last year’s winner), but she knew Beggin’ is a cover. We’re not completely erased from the global music scene

Next up is the MTV EMAs, where they are thankfully expected to perform Mammamia. I think we’ve all had it with Beggin’.

And absurd as this was to imagine six months ago, they may very well be nominated for a Grammy in a couple weeks. If they manage that, they’ll have well and truly “made it.”

Hope they didn’t make any eye contact with her…

Now it’s all up to their new management. Their exposure couldn’t be any better, but ‘Mamma mia’ didn’t really take off anywhere, yet. If their managers fail to get some screen time for that single, too, they might end up as a one hit wonder in the US and as a three hit fad in Europe. After all, that’s already an amazing feat. But given Måneskin’s talents, it would still be undeservingly little. Yet, at the same time, the band is walking a tightrope right now. As Jonas and Alex pointed out, Damiano already sounds a little exhausted … and… Read more »

Proud of them for getting so much exposure but would love for them to sing their own songs for once, especially the one they won eurovision with and made them famous lol. That said, Domiano sounds a little tired, I hope they aren’t being overworked

I hope Damiano is looking after his voice, it sounds tired. Still, he is such a professional.
