junior eurovision 2021

La Seine Musicale is one of the most celebrated music venues in Paris. So it’s only fitting that France Télévisions are working day and night to make sure it’s in tip-top shape for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 on December 19.

Construction started seven days ago and is not yet finished. However, what’s taking shape already has us saying, oui, oui!

On Wednesday France’s Eurovision boss Alexandra Redde Amiel gave our Diego an exclusive tour of the construction site, showing him the wonders of the stage.

And while he has deleted all photos and video that showed the staging of specific acts, we can share the following images that show the grandeur that’s in the works.

The images show a large performance area at the centre of the stage, which is flanked by two bridges.

They’re instantly reminiscent of the iconic Pont Alexandre III bridge that spans the Seine in the French capital near the Invalides. The Beaux-Arts beauty comes through in the instantly recognisable gilt-bronze statues of Fames, which honour the arts, sciences, industry and commerce. The kids are never too young to appreciate some culture!

Alexandre had high praise for the stage, noting that its 375 square metre screen is “absolutely crazy in terms of image creation.”

She didn’t take all the credit though: “I have to say there’s been amazing work done by every delegation.”

She described the stage shows that they’ve developed as running the gamut from crazy and amazing to beautiful and emotional.

Are you excited by the stage? Do you love the colours and those fantastic bridges? Let us know in the comments box below!

Wow, from what I’ve seen, this stage looks awesome! I think JESC 2021 is going to be really awesome and the songs are just super. I have no idea who I’m gonna vote for, there’s so many good songs!! Oh how I wish I could be there in Paris.

I can’t stress this enough, adult ESC needs to innovate more. the obscure genres, wild ideas, and musical diversity is what makes eurovision the way it is. but only jesc has realized this in terms of management. the adult contest should take notes right now.

The adult ESC is just another Melodifestivalen these days. Soulless trainwreck.

I noted by zooming there is a hoop hanging from the ceiling, it will be for the russian staging I guess like in her MV. I think the 5th photo with these colours has something to do with the armenian staging like in her MV as well in any case we will see that very soon 😉

Just by these shots it looks breathtaking. I can’t believe the adult contest kept using the same guy that put a led behind the stage and a catwalk in different forms. Well done to France and Italy for supporting local talent and bringing diversity

oh dear. I get Italy visions of the last time Toto could present with all these crazy objects. It is an atmosphere that will be much appreciated by Turkish wedding planners with lots of white and pink and soft blue lights and who knows some plastic flowers and a drone with camera 🙁

From what I can see, I dont think this stage is too much or cheap. Quite the contrary, it looks cinematic and magic. But lets wait for the full stage to come to life.

Lol impossible to compare but nice try so your salty and biased visions are not appropriate at all here…you should check your brain and your memory I guess.

Thanks Addict. Your remarks are as classy as the stage this year. Making it personal, only shows your character. It ain’t pretty. Please try to play the ball, not the player.

The player is always the probem not the ball, anyway you mean my remarks are very classy as this stage is then, perfect. Just for you but check the definitions of classy and of bitter too, it will help you. Bye.

This makes me desperate for France to win Eurovision again, Imagine what that stage would look like if this is what they create for JESC!

Wait till you hear how the French speak English, and you’ll wish it was in Poland again.

Clearly…….as if the jesc belonged to Poland… and I guess only the polish people can speak a good english in this world but from what they have shown already they are not an example in this so…..they are tiring with their clichés and their misplaced patriotism….
