After a week of rehearsals, the stage is finally ready for Junior Eurovision 2021 this Sunday 19 December. The online voting platform is now live ahead of the contest and you can finally have your say about who you think should win this year’s contest.

Like in recent years, the public vote for the 2021 contest is being done online. After watching a clip of the rehearsals from each act, you can vote for three countries (including your own country should you wish to).

But, since the result of the Junior Eurovision 2021 voting is kept behind closed doors until the actual event, we thought we’d run our own poll to see who you’ve voted for. Hopefully, this should give us some insight into where the points may be going at the end of Sunday’s show.

Scroll down to vote in the poll

Russia came out on top of our pre-rehearsal poll. Armenia and Georgia followed closely behind in second and third respectively. But have you had a change of heart after watching the rehearsal footage of each act?

If you haven’t already, be sure to go and vote over at vote.junioreurovision.tv. Then come back here and vote in our poll for the exact same countries.

As with the official voting, you’ll be limited to a maximum of three countries and will only be able to vote once. This is a flash poll and it will only stay open for 24 hours (although you have until 16:59 CET on Sunday 19 December to vote in the actual contest).

Poll: Who have you voted for in Junior Eurovision 2021?

Who are you voting for in Junior Eurovision 2021? How have your thoughts changed since seeing the rehearsal footage? Let us know in the comments below!

I like Armenia’s song, but to be completely honest, I don’t want it to win. This is not the direction I want Junior Eurovision to go. This song is too mature. Call me crazy if you want, but it’s one of those songs that can easily be interpreted as a song about… drugs. She’s singing about being high. Just like every other song on the radio.

Overall very cute songs and talented kids. I voted for Poland, Netherlands, and Georgia, but it wasn’t an easy choice. Many of these songs are genuinely good. France, North Macedonia, Ireland, Russia, Ukraine were all in the consideration to vote for. All the best to every performer, and may all the kids have a great time!

I’ve just seen on Twitter that Malena’s mother been asking to vote for Armenia and two countries with no chances. Not France or Poland.
Sad seeing this kind of attitudes as it’s not the first time.
EBU should be more careful.

I’m not surprised by Armenia’s lack of fairplay. It’s sad and dishonest, indeed.

Well, she is not the only one, I have seen on livestreams some fans asking to the others to not vote for France, I won’t name from which countries but they will recognize themselves, some adults are more childish than the children themselves in this jesc fandom, they are the worst, doing strategy or others vicious things for a simple KIDS contest, whatever, the karma has always the last word.

some fans are so childish and pathetic. and what difference can a kids contest bring to a defeated and radicalized nation? I don’t see it.

As if they had only this in their country to be proud of. Some people are taking this too seriously, it’s insane, It’s only a tv show with europeans kids from Europe and beyond sharing their talents and their joy to be here during Christmas time, it’s not a war. So those who are afraid for their countries to be out of the top 4, or to not win for a 3rd time we don’t care, the children are living their best life and it’s the best thing of this contest, the countries ‘s prize lists we don’t care.

EBU allowed freakin’ playback last year, so I wouldn’t expect much from it in terms of fair play.

The accusations of fake playback are fairplay? Or the accusations to sing about drugs are fairplay? So guy take your lessons of fairplay for you, the Ebu has allowed nothing, keep fantasizing.

Malena’s mother ask people to don’t vote for Poland, France and Russia cause they are favourites.

All kids are the winners. This thing is such a disrespectful and shouldn’t happen… so disappointed of her.

Italy (that’s a great rock song and her voice is superb for this), Azerbaijan (no, she has not the best staging but Sona has the best voice and this is the best ballad this year) and my country Germany (to open a show is hard ….to do that twice in a row is insane – and our song is good and catchy ….no, it is no winning song but should get a decent result).

Poland: Everything about this is wonderful. Sara’s voice, her beautiful song and performance. Hope she wins.
Georgia: Niko is amazing and his song is so cute. As Georgia has struggled in the online voting, I hope they get what they deserve this year.
Malta: Underrated by JESC community. Amazing voices and cute song. Hope Ike and Kaya will surprise and do well.

I think Armenia is the clear stand out and possible winner. The song and the performance give me strong Viki Gabor’s vibes. Also in the Top 5 the three strongest countries in the televote: Poland (great voice, very cool song), Spain (fun, playful, very junior) and France (probably the best staging) and rounding out the top 5 probably Georgia, Russia or Azerbaijan.
Anyway, this is a great year, and all the contestants are doning a great job! I hope everyone gets at least 100+ points. They deserve it <3

Spain probably wont get top 5 but i hope it gets top 10 cause the vibe of the song is great! , i think the winner will be between Poland , Armenia , Russia and Geogira but NM , italy , France and Ukraine also have a chance! , it’ll be a battle bewtween those countries for the win! =)

North Macedonia, France and Italy My favourite and by far the biggest grower from the contest is N. Macedonia because the song makes me empowered in a way, the live vocals so far sound good. The only con is that the stage seems quite empty. Then we have France, another grower. The song is so fun and childish. It really gives me Bim Bam Toi vibes. The staging only elevated the whole thing Then Italy, at first listen fell irredeemably in love with Specchio. Now the staging is quite empty…and there are no mirrors but she saves it with her… Read more »

Picked Georgia, Italy, and Ireland in the end.

Georgia is my favorite. It’s so funky and fun and the kid is so cute. I like how he’s sort of embracing the fact that he’s a kid and not trying to seem too grown up- without the song or performance being cheesy.

I’m glad some of you mentioned longer snippets in Youtube, because the recap video is so rushed and they picked the wrong moments for some countries (North Macedonia for example looks MUCH better on the 30s snippet).

Ended up voting for Armenia, Georgia and Italy. But I was close to vote for France too.

Armenia, North Macedonia and Poland for me. I also voted for Albania just bc I love the performance so much but I hope Anna improves her vocals. Armenia was a huge surprise for me I wasnt convinced by the 1st rehearsal but this has put it back up to my 1st place. Impressed with NM, I wasn’t expecting their vocals to be that good but I was proven wrong. I love the performance as well, I just wish there was something else going on on stage. Poland is just amazing. Going into today, I didn’t want Poland to win for… Read more »

Yeah, North Macedonia was a major letdown. Their voices didn’t sound good at all. Even worse for Russia, out of tune and scratchy. Russia shouldn’t even make the top 10 and NM could be facing another result outside the top 10. Not fair at all but there are a lot of level.

I’m a bit astounded at how short the snippets were that we had to listen to before voting. Some of those kids could barely get one sentence out before moving on to the next performance. . If they put the full 30 second snippets it would have given a better image of the performances and songs. Anywayy on to my votes: 1 North macedonia: my favorite upfront and a good example of what I said just now. It’s a great performance but lets say a kid who votes without listening to the songs upfront will listen to this, hear 10… Read more »
