This semi-final will see five acts perform — four semi-finalists and one pre-qualified act. The semi-finalists will be split into two duels.

  • Lily Löwe “Bad Baby”
  • Steffen Jakobsen “With Me Tonight”
  • Farida “Dangerous”
  • Daniel Lukas “Kvelertak”

The public will vote for their favourite in each duel, with the two winners progressing to the “Gold Duel”. The public will then vote once more. The winner of the gold duel will win the semi-final and qualify directly to the grand final. The eliminated acts will remain in contention for a wildcard spot in the final, which will be decided later on in the season.

In addition to the duels, pre-qualified act Christian Ingebrigtsen will perform his entry “Wonder Of The World”.

Steffen fikk for lavt volum ved første framføringen, litt bedre annen gang.
Ellers: Altfor tullete lys-bakgrunn for noen av mgp framføringene.

If you watch the already recorded shows from the NRK website ( https://tv.nrk.no/ ) and turn on the (Norwegian) subtitles, you can translate them in your own language with the Google Chrome translate button (assuming you use Chrome as a web browser) . It is very comfortable as you will understand the show even if you don’t speak Norwegian.

The same trick used to work or the Swedish Melodiefestivalen (I don’t know if it still works.

Like with Germany, Poland and North Macedonia, it can only get better. I was dumbstruck when Norway managed to qualify last year.
