The process started all the way back in October. And now, months later, The X Factor Israel is set to wrap on Saturday, culminating with the winner becoming Israel’s next Eurovision act. But before that we have tonight’s HaShir Shelanu L’Eurovizion (Our Song For Eurovision). Here, the four X Factor finalists will each perform two potential songs for Eurovision. However, each act will only be able to take one song to the X Factor final.

Here’s when and how you can watch the HaShir Shelanu L’Eurovizion — Israel’s song selection show for Eurovision 2022.

Off-topic, but could anyone from Wiwibloggs update the calendar page please? For example, HaShir Shelanu is still stated there as ‘January date TBC’…

Inbal Bibi for the win, especially with Marionette.

If Zaza ends up winning, I wouldn’t mind it tho.

Eli is a very graceful and elegant singer/songwriter and there’s no doubt both of his songs show a lot of sensitivity and creativity, but I fear his demeanor and presence on stage are a bit jaded, like he doesn’t have the appetite, the zest or the right gusto to win a crowd over. He needs to work on making eye contact and not look aside as if he’s drifting away. Still, I’d rather have quality and cohesiveness over imitations like Marionette or inexplicable beat drops with a weak build up like Zaza.
