Last week, Serbian broadcaster RTS revealed the 36 songs for Pesma za Evroviziju 22, the country’s Eurovision 2022 selection. However, a few days later, there’s already been a shake up to the line-up. Goca Tržan has withdrawn from the competition.

CHEGI & Braća Bluz Bend replace Goca Tržan at Pesma za Evroviziju 22

RTS announced that Goca had to pull out of the competition for health reasons.

Goca Tržan’s spot in Pesma za Evroviziju 22 will be taken by CHEGI & Braća Bluz Bend. They were the next act on the list in RTS’s selection.

CHEGI & Braća Bluz Bend will perform the song “Devojko sa plamenom u očima” (“A girl with flames in her eyes”), which has now been uploaded to YouTube.

This is the second change to the Pesma za Evroviziju 22 line-up. The original list of participants also included Stefan Zdravković. However, he later withdrew due to “inappropriate terms of preparation and realisation of the festival”.

Stefan was replaced by Tijana Dapčević. Tijana previously represented North Macedonia at Eurovision in 2014. She’s now hoping to return to the contest for neighbouring Serbia with the song “Ljubi, ljubi doveka” (“Love, love forever”).

Yknow, I actually like this song. As a Eurovision song? Not so sure. But it makes for good backing music. I like the vibe. Laid back.

Serbia has besides Finland and Portugal the best preselection this year.

I disagree, most songs are 2000-2005 throwback with very questionable production value, this could have been easily a selection with 10 songs max, 36 is just too much.
