Selecţia Naţională 2022 reaches its conclusion on 5 March, where someone will receive Romania’s ticket to Eurovision.
A total of 46 acts started the race but after numerous rounds only ten are still in the running.
Now we’re asking you: who’s your favourite?

Selectia Nationala 2022: Show details
The grand final of Romania’s national selection takes place on 5 March. The winner will be chosen using a combination of votes from a jury and public televoting. Each juror will reward points of 12, 10, 8-1 in order of their favourites.
The public vote will be determined by a complicated method – in short, if song A received the most viewer votes and song B received 10% of song A’s votes, then song A will be awarded 12 points and song B will be awarded 1.2 points.
At Eurovision 2022, Romania is set to compete in the second half of the second semi-final on 12 May.

Dora has the vocals down, but she needs to step up her charisma. WRS has tons of charisma but he needs to step up his vocals. These two are the front runners for me, the only ones who can bring Romania to the Grand Final.
Dora is the only option. She is the best singer and the most ready to cope with the pressure of the contest. And we will not be ashamed of who we send.
Romania should take a break like Portugal, Cyprus, Serbia, Montenegro did in the past.
If they fail to qualify again, I can imagine them actually withdrawing for a while.
Gabriel or Dora, maybe Moise too but unfortunately he’s too underrated

And Wrs can’t sing, he is just mumbling some words and trying to dance, and when it comes to that, Israel and Spain will wipe the floor with him.
They just said that they will not disqualify “Romania mea” because it doesn’t break the rules when it clearly does… Selectia Nationala is such a corrupt thing…lol

Such a shame to see this final line-up with so many great options needlessly discarded. Of what is left, I like Llamame and Romania mea the most. I fear the rest would be dead on arrival in Turin.

I like Alex Parker & Bastien the most. Romania mea is also nice. But overall, a very weak selection.

WRS is my favorite. I also liked that cute little dance he was doing. “Cute” is probably not what he was aiming for but it really put a smile on my face.
Dora Gaitanovici and PETRA are the biggest growers for me. They both seem like talented performers.
I liked the studio version on Romania mea but the live didn’t impress me.
I would be happy with any of the acts that I mentioned winning.
As a romanian, we should def go with Dora. Minodora & Co is a bit cringey and not for esc imo, Gabriel has a great voice but I don’t see it doing so well if it’s chosen, WRS is catchy but that’s about it.

Good to see people have the same opinion. Kyrie Mendel’s song is such a gem and I thought it’s the best song in the selection (next to Doina)
The most enjoyable and current entry is “All This Love”. It’s not a masterpiece nor original but is really well done and sung. And it’s super catchy. I hope the meme “Llámame” don’t win. The song itself is a bit cheap but the performance make it far worse. The guy must be thinking his a sex-machine or something…

Ana Or Romania Mea are the best choices for the optimum Eurovision result in my opinion though.

We’ve always been one of the most insipid and kitsch-leaning countries in the contest, I’m just glad we’re still taking part so I can vote for other countries which actually send some interesting stuff at this point, it is what it is… That WRS guy is just a dancer mumbling through some random Spanish, I get that the song is not a complete bore like some of the others, but he just can’t sing live, it would be like sending our own version of Rafal. It’s a pretty open field if you ask me. I may need to listen to them again for a better assessment now that it’s fewer than the 40 that was presented to us a few weeks ago.

I feel a bit let down by this selection. the quality was generally low but with a few gems, most of them were robbed of a place in the final. but Doina and România mea are still excellent choices
