The line-up for the Emerging Artists Final is complete! On Thursday, the second chance show of Una Voce per San Marino took place in Teatro Titano in the city of San Marino. In the end, five acts advanced to the Emerging Artists Final on Friday.

Same as the semi-finals, the second chance competition had two rounds. After the first round, in which acts sang the same original songs as the semi-finals, six out of the 15 acts advanced to the second round. They were Maria Chiara Leoni, Alessia Labate, Sebastian Schmidt (Basti), Frio, Kumi Watanabe and Nada & Sissi.

In the second round, five out of six acts qualified to the Emerging Artists Final. Unfortunately, Nada & Sissi were the act to be eliminated at this point.

Unexpectedly, Eliska Mrázová (Elis Mraz), who finished second in the Czech Republic’s 2020 and 2022 national final ESCZ, failed to qualify from the first round.

On Friday, the five qualifiers from this second chance round will join the other 12 acts who advanced directly from the semi-finals. These 17 performers will fight for nine spots available in Saturday’s grand final.

Update: Aaron Sibley won the newcomers edition and together with 8 others will perform at the grand finals tomorrow. Pressure is a really good song, and I’d be quite happy to see Aaron in Eurovision. 🙂
I just hope that, in a case that “a veteran act” wins tomorrow, it will be with a song on pair or better, not only for their name. So far, I’m team Aaron, but also ready to be dazzled by nine (or eight, depending on whether Domenica is competing) still unreleased songs.

Jessica condon …. Shows they’ll let any old crap in the competition. How on earth did that get in? The second hand embarrassment is ripe.

San Marino being the smallest country to participate in Eurovision but giving us the most elaborated and diverse National Final. With all these rounds and these shows for the emerging artists, they can’t fail, they will forcefully select the best acts for the final, and we will see what the big artists invited will bring too. It would be funny if at the end an emerging artist won the all thing and not a big artist, I personally d’love a San Marinese artist winning but let’s see. This NF is even more elaborated and longer than San Remo, Pabandom is… Read more »

San Marino, I’ll love you forever and a day for all the effort you put into Eurovision. You’re the best country ever.

The rock band Snei Ap made a scene about it (maybe cuz they failed to qualify and they are loosers), so the jury dq her

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: We need to thank San Marino for giving us this competition. It’s a country of 35,000 people, and regardless of production issues, they clearly love Eurovision. I wish them all of the best luck.

So glad Maria Chiara got through. That bloody Tiramisu song and her crazy cover of Elettrochoc have been stuck in my head ever since SF2.

I hope Balconi Dolciaria is going to sponsor her trip to Torino if she wins this whole thing.
