She’s got more than one million followers and TikTok, and now she’s ready to hit the big leagues. Melbourne-based superstar Erica Padilla has released her Eurovision — Australia Decides 2022 entry “To The Bottom”.
“To The Bottom” is a powerful pop R’n’B anthem about self-resilience, perseverance and fighting your demons. Accompanied by strong piano bass notes, a catchy beat and gospel-like backing vocals, Erica Padilla sings about finding her strength and clawing her way from rock bottom straight back up to the top where she belongs.
“To The Bottom” is out now on streaming services everywhere.

Erica’s track was self-penned in collaboration with Sean Carey, Erica’s close friend Ally Eley and Erica’s younger sister Isabella Padilla.

Meanwhile on TikTok, Erica Padilla shared a teaser video of herself listening to the fully-produced track and smiling.
Erica said: “I wrote a song about never wanting to go back to your lowest point — rock bottom. It’s a song about doing absolutely anything you can to and working hard to never be at the point again.
“It’s about conquering your demons, picking yourself back up when you’ve fallen and following your dreams.”
The 20 year old star enters the fray as the 11th entry, after winning the SBS and Blink TV’s TikTok wildcard competition. Erica Padilla joins artists including Isaiah Firebrace, Jaguar Jonze and Paulini in the Australia Decides 2022 final for the chance to fly the Australian flag in Turin.
Eurovision — Australia Decides 2022 airs on Saturday 26 February at 10:30 CET (19:30 AEST) on SBS.
