Have you ever wanted to be in a Eurovision music video? Now you have a chance: Czech Republic’s We Are Domi are searching for extras for their “Lights Off” music video.

In a series of Instagram stories, Domi explained they have a packed schedule these days, which includes the video shoot. It will happen next week in Prague.

If you want to join them, you’ll just need to be in the city on Monday and Tuesday next week, from 12:00 to 00.00. But fear not, you may be able to just go one of the two days or for part of the day.

Fancy a trip to Prague? Just imagine, you start your day visiting St. Vitus Cathedral and walking around Staré Město, and you end your day meeting Domi, Casper and Benjamin.

Also, it’s important to point out that they are looking for people of all ages, ethnicities and appearances — celebrate diversity, y’all!

“The deadlines are mental”

Speaking on the group’s Instagram stories, Domi explained they have been working “non-stop”.

“The deadlines are mental, but it’s totally worth it,” she said.

Also, she commented how she went through Covid recently. That’s why she couldn’t join her band mates in Norway for Melodi Grand Prix. She’s feeling much better now, though.

Czech Republic in Eurovision 2022: We Are Domi “Lights Off”

We Are Domi is composed of vocalist Dominika Hašková, the daughter of famous ice hockey player Dominik Hašek, with Norwegians Casper Hatlestad and Benjamin Rekstad on guitar and keyboard respectively. Casper hails from Stavanger while Benjamin is from Nesodden. The trio met at the Leeds College of Music in the United Kingdom, making the band a true European creation.

The group defeated stiff competition at the Czech national final, including returning performer Elis Mraz. Although they didn’t score as high with local fans, they won with the international fans and jury and claimed the ticket to Turin. After their victory, they posted a simple message to their fans on their Instagram: “Thank you!”

Will you be joining We Are Domi in Prague for their music video? How do you think their video will be? Is Czech Republic among your favourites this year? Let us know in the comment section below!

So many people seem to like this entry – me too. I wonder why it’s so low in the betting odds.

There suddenly seems to be a lot of love for this track (justifiably) compared to when it first came out. Perhaps many people don’t like some of the 18 entries which have appeared since?
