In an unrelated but not really unrelated topic: Europe is at war. Thinking of Ukraine today and I condemn the actions by Russia. Sure, this is a song contest, and I’m against the contest being politicised, but we simply cannot allow Russia participate this year, in fact, I hope the EBU gives them the “Belarus treatment” and expels them. The Eurovision Song Contest was created to bring Europe together through song, a universal, shared language, following the trauma of World War II. Allowing Russia compete is a blatant disregard for that vision set out by the EBU 66 years ago.… Read more »

Can we not do this? “This” refers to strong emotional responses from people who haven’t thought everything through completely. Vladimir Putin is Russia’s president, and he also controls his military, just like any other country in the world. Denying Russia its right to entrance sounds good on paper, but in reality, you will just be denying an innocent person’s chance to sing and have fun just like everybody else. Russian people are not accountable for what is happening in the current atmosphere. Please, let us not blame the whole nation and condemn everyone because of one person. Thank you. Have… Read more »

What happened when Serbia was bombed ?
Did you exclude more than half of the Europe? No, Serbia was excluded .

This should be a safe place, for artists and people who love music!
Place of comfort if needed!
Not political battlefield!

Unconditional love and peace! ??

If the performance is any good, Sara Jo is an obvious choice for the winner of this semi. Even if not, top 3 is the lowest it can go. It’s an interesting song, metrically different from anything else. Objectively, I believe that this can do really well in the contest.

Naiva, Dušan Svilar, Euterpa, Marija Mirkovic, and Zejna Murkic should make it through as well.

Definitely the weaker semi. Only 4 out of my top 15 come from this semi.
