It’s been years in the making. And on Monday the American Song Contest finally hits the airwaves in the United States.
Atlantic Records is acting as the exclusive music partner for the new competition. The label will release the competing songs in a series of weekly batches. The first lot of entries are due to land on Monday 21 March at 00:00 (midnight) ET / 21:00 PT — just a few hours before the first episode.
But on Friday NBC revealed short snippets of 10 of the acts singing their songs. In Eurovision-style we just have to ask: Which Week 1 artist and song are you most excited about?
Please note: Michael Bolton of Connecticut is competing in this heat, but he is not featured in the preview teaser. We have therefore removed him from this poll.
