She’s the former Love Generation star who burst to fame at Mello this year. And now, she’s heading from Stockholm to London, as she embarks on a pre-Turin promo tour. We’re delighted to confirm Sweden’s Cornelia Jakobs will perform at the London Eurovision Party 2022.
On Sunday 3 April, Cornelia will perform her emotive breakup track on stage at London’s Hard Rock Hotel for the UK’s biggest and best Eurovision warm-up party.
Cornelia Jakobs will represent Sweden at Eurovision 2022 with “Hold Me Closer” after winning Melodifestivalen 2022.
London Eurovision Party 2022
The London Eurovision Party will take place on Sunday 3 April.
The long-running Eurovision promotional event returns after a two-year hiatus to celebrate the stars of Eurovision 2022. As ever, contestants from the current edition of the song contest, along with some surprises from yesteryear, will travel to the British capital from around the continent to showcase their songs in front of international media and some of the contest’s biggest fans.
This year’s event will take place inside the glamorous Hard Rock Hotel — just steps away from Hyde Park.

I don’t think that she or Dima Bilan should be invited to any ESC-related event ever again. Also, I think that Wiwi shouldn’t give any platform to their new music efforts.
Other Russian artists – sure. I want all the updates on Lazarev, Manizha, Little Big, Yuliya Samoylova, Peter Nalitch, ect. I hope they are well and out of peril. But not Bilan, and especially not Gagarina after that concert.
Lazarev immediatelly stood against the war, risking himself. I have deep respect for that man. I hope he’s doing well. As for Kirkoroff, he also seems like a piece of work. Hasn’t said anything after the war begun, but he was good with the dictator before that. The reason why I’m personally not denouncing his ESC songs is because none of them were written only by him, and none of them were performed by him. I love Primadonna as a song. I think we can also be cautiously optimistic towards Alla Pugacheva. Even if she is radio silent in the last days, she supported P.tin’s political opponent in 2011, and signed a petition against locking-up singers who protested the annexation of Crimea in 2014.

I don’t know. White dove perhaps means peace to Ukraine, and perhaps it doesn’t. I like to think the best of people unless they do something to prove otherwise.
