The second set of results from the OGAE Poll 2022 are in. This time, it’s Slovenia calling and they have awarded their douze points to Italy’s Mahmood and Blanco.

That’s another set of 12 points to this year’s host entrants, who remain untouched at the top of the scoreboard with the maximum score after also receiving the first 12 points from France last week.

The 24 voters of the Slovenian club gave Serbia a boost onto the overall scoreboard, as Konstrakta and her memorable entry “In Corpore Sano” received ten points. Meanwhile, France also received their first eight points, with the energetic Alvan & Ahez claiming the bronze medal in the OGAE Slovenia vote.

Votes from OGAE Slovenia

  • Italy – 12 points
  • Serbia – 10 points
  • France – 8 points
  • Poland- 7 points
  • Sweden – 6 points
  • Spain – 5 points
  • Norway – 4 points
  • Ukraine – 3 points
  • Romania – 2 points
  • Austria – 1 point

OGAE Poll 2022 leaderboard – 6 April

Both Italy and Sweden remain in the top two spots after this next set of votes. But there’s change further down the leaderboard, as thanks to OGAE Slovenia it’s now Poland who jumps into the top three. They’re followed by Spain, Serbia and France, with the Netherlands dropping three spots after receiving no points from the Slovenian club. Likewise, the absence of points for the United Kingdom and Finland means they both drop down a bit.

The points from OGAE Slovenia mean Romania has now received some love, picking up two points. So far, 13 countries have received points, leaving 27 countries on zero points – for now.

The current overall scoreboard aligns with the present betting odds. Eight out of ten countries in the current OGAE 2022 poll’s top ten coincide with the top ten of various betting houses.

  • 1. Italy – 24 points
  • 2. Sweden – 16 points
  • 3. Poland – 13 points
  • 4. Spain – 10 points
  • (=) Serbia – 10 points
  • 6. France – 8 points
  • (=) The Netherlands – 8 points
  • 8. Norway – 7 points
  • (=) United Kingdom – 7 points
  • 10. Ukraine – 4 points
  • (=) Finland – 4 points
  • 12. Austria – 3 points
  • 13. Romania – 2 points

Countries that are not listed are yet to receive any points from the voting clubs.

Over the next few weeks, the remaining OGAE groups will announce their points to determine their Eurovision winner. Stay tuned, because by the end of April we will know which singer and song is this year’s fan favourite to win Eurovision 2022.

So far, only two clubs have released their votes. This means that there are 41 other clubs that will reveal their votes soon, so everything can change!

No points for Greece, neither for UK and… Belgium. Points for Romania but not for Belgium… I can not get it… You have a cheap taste Slovenia. And no taste for quality. And look to what Slovenia has been sending to the Eurovision for the last couple of years: dull songs. Slovenia ’22 will be again at the bottom of the ranking. Bye Slovenia.

If Italy wins the ogae polls, then they sure won’t win the real thing. It’s like a curse or something

Whoever wins OGAE probably won’t win. Only like 5 OGAE winners have gone on to be actual winners. So bet your money outside Italy..

The fans have no taste. Remember when no OGAE clubs voted for Kate Miller-Heidke and then she went on to win her semi final.

good to know they’re alive ! i was fearing for the ogays after france dropped their points and then we got no updates for 10 days. i hope they don’t do that nonsensical voting like last year where they bulk revealed half of the clubs’ points on the last day, no need to try so hard to imitate the eurovision’s voting when there’s no juries/televoting split whatsoever here. also love to see serbia getting 10 !

This assumption is on the basis that they’ll qualify so you must think they’re good enough. Bit of a stupid comment really

serbia better not be underrated by the ogays this year because if this is a fair unbiased voting then konstrakta is the obvious winner. slovenia knows art when they hear it clearly

It’s an organisation of eurovision fans that hosts fan contests, organises eurovision-related events and has voted in a few nf:s

there’s a yearly quota. but the number of members seems to shrink every year, these clubs will be extinct in a few years. is anyone even under the age of 40 in there ?

OGAE is association of official ESC fanclubs around the world. They organise trips to national selections, support their country’s representative, organise trips to the ESC, sometimes work with the broadcaster or take part in other countries voting.
Every year they have a voting for favourite song in the contest and this is the result of that. They also organise the Second chance Contest, where songs from national selections compete
