There’s only 20 days until Eurovision 2022 kicks in. As the excitement fills the air, the OGAE Poll 2022 – where fans around the world cast their votes for their favourite acts in this year’s contest – keeps unleashing more points.

Eight clubs have recently released their points, these being OGAE’s Rest of the World (ROW), Spain, Romania, Cyprus, Malta, Switzerland, Netherlands and Azerbaijan.

With almost 40% of the votes already distributed, Italy remain determined to win the trophy. In fact, Italy’s beloved duo Mahmood and Blanco have not left the top spot since the 2022 OGAE Poll started. The pair also received five sets of douze points from the latest clubs – courtesy of ROW, Cyprus, Malta, Switzerland and Netherlands.

OGAE Spain, instead, awarded its 12 points to Sweden’s Cornelia Jakobs. OGAE Romania sent their top points to Spain’s Chanel. And OGAE Azerbaijan have shown some love for S10 from the Netherlands.

What’s the average age range of OGAE members?

Each year there is some OGAE top 10 flop. Last year Cyprus and San Marino. Cyprus 2019 also, 2018 France and Finland mega flop where they were 2nd and 3rd in OGAE.
So the question is who will be this year OGAE fail(s) ?

Wiwibloggs has understood that OGAE is pure cringe at best. They used to make a post for every OGAE vote back in the days. Now they made a sole post for 5< votes. As a big ESC site, they have to mention OGAE voting, even if they don't like it.

I am happy that the UK and Italy are so high. I love both songs. I would give UK 12 points and Italy 10. Good luck to both from Germany.

Where are the 2 points given from Azerbaijan to Portugal in the leaderboard? Or is there a mistake in the Azerbaijan’s Top10?

If jury of Denmark sends points to Italy, I am sure Italy would be ranked high by juries:):) Denmark is the only country whose jury never gave any points to Italy since 2015 and Italy won, finished 2nd and 3th during this 6 year period :):)

Last years OGAE poll prediction: Malta 358 – Switzerland 318 – France 301 – Lithuania 238 – Cyprus 237 – San Marino 105 – Sweden 81 – Italy 64

OGAE has as much predictive value as a random octopus forecasting the winner.

I don’t think it’s strange. I always expected it’d be more of a locals favorite than a fan fave.

I don’t mind who’s going to win this year, it’s just a dream to have Eurovision in my country. But, I don’t remember an host country being one of the favourite to win in the last decade.

since jury era the OGAE winners of 2009, 2012,2013, 2018, have also won ESC. But keep in mind thought that winning ESC was not related to OGAE but incidental..

Hasn’t the winner always been in OGAEs top ten? One of two if the top ten usually flops. That makes it interesting with Ukraine. If they win it will be because if sympathy woting. The top of OGAE are right now Italy, Sweden, Spain, UK, Netherlands, Poland, France, Norway, Albania and Cyprus. I think France and Cyprus might flop. France is a mess on stage. Maybe Sweden will flop but I hope not. I love it but I am biased. Spain I really don’t like the whole concept- but I think it will do well. If Spain wins I will… Read more »

I think Italy is a fan thing. I can’t see it doing top 3.Better than most host entries but it’s not that special Ukraine depends on how much juries will like them but I can’t see juries putting them in top 5. Spain will impress because she sings and dance which is hard to do. Sweden can flop yes but I think it’s more likely it won’t. But hey, we know there was a risk it wouldn’t do well and that’s why I love it), and I do think she can get more than 100 points from televote Norway will… Read more »

Last year’s results are a nice reminder why we are left with the shocked faces of Destiny and Senit on camera once the televote is read. Because OGAE is truly not a reflection of the entire public. And why Sweden with even last year’s most generic cliche song manages to always place top 10 in OGAE even when at the contest they end up right side of scoreboard

Juries generally gave Italy rankings but I think they would like Brividi ? I don’t want Sweden to win jury votes because vocals are off key and there are voice cracks during the song.

I think jury would like Italy and Italy could even get its highest jury ranking ?because normally Italy is ranked by juries not so high. I don’t want Sweden’s average pop song to win jury vote

In OGAE poll there is always in top 10: Italy and Sweden; a bop (She got me, Je me casse, Replay,…), a flop (Tu canción, Adrenalina, Merci, etc…).
This year we have Italy and Sweden, a bop (SloMo). Nice to see which one the flop would be (if I had to bet, France).
