Rosa is so sweet and I like her voice and song, Totally something different form what we got used to get from Armenia. She should be more in the spotlight.

S10 and Umetnica are fire.

So, here some fresh RuZZian propaganda from Serbia’s entry.

Neither does Sweden, right? I mean these are Ikea tables and Ikea is Swedish brand. Which means Sweden supports Russia. #logic

I hate Russia as much as the next person, but aren’t you going too far? It’s just a piece of furniture, they probably didn’t give it a second thought. This is like the people who see illuminati triangles in celebrity pictures.

This poll is about the vocals or the song itself? Cause if it’s vocals I mean Vladana should be ahead… I really love some of the female vocalists this year (props to MARO, Cornelia, Amanda, S10, Monika) but I think no matter what polls did you put on people will vote for their favorite songs and forget about the category. If you had put Poland’s in between those girls I bet lot of people would vote for them anyway. Silly right?!?

I doubt that will happen this year, especially due to the popularity of Ukraine. It’s not very common that this happen. The only time that really pops into my mind is 2005, with Greece, Malta, and Romania, all three of which had really great entries.

So many talented women here. 14 wonderful ladies indeed. And most of them have songs that I find at least solid, if not really good. I have 8 solo female-sung entries in my top 15. My winners here are still S10, Konstrakta, and Cornelia Jakobs.

Is this poll about the girls as singers or is it about the songs cause that would make a great difference?

I often wonder how these polls would look if you could only vote once. I’m curious if songs like Portugal or Cyprus would score so highly if they had to be somebody’s #1 pick and not a 2nd or 3rd pick behind say, Netherlands or Spain or Sweden.

The female soloists really take the cake for me this year, they represent 6 entries in my top 7. Greece is my outright winner, and Sweden, Albania, Netherlands, Portugal and Spain are fantastic as well. I can’t see any other male act besides Ukraine taking it home this year.

This is probably a very unpopular opinion, but for me I would probably flip the ranking and have Andrea and Vladana as my favorites whilst having Konstrakta and Cornelia at the bottom. Many of the others I find very so-so, but I gotta give credit to Chanel being an insanely strong live performer, stuck with a meh song.

It’s not only the vocals or the performance, but the essence of being authentic and having a true style. Whereas others are just more of what we have seen in the last few years, one has to admit that Cornelia stands on her own right.
