Tuesday marked the final day of first rehearsals for the semi-finalists of Eurovision 2022. That means it’s time for one last poll where you pick your favourite.

Ireland’s Brooke opened the show with some very big fireworks, while Czech Republic’s We Are Domi put on a light display of their own.

In between we saw North Macedonia (hands on two large panels), Estonia (country-western landscapes), Romania (matador fashion), Poland (dancing water creatures), Montenegro (with a secret, to-be-revealed prop), Belgium (a very silver jacket), and Sweden (that signature green circle).

But who slayed hardest? You can watch the brief snippets on the official Eurovision TikTok channel, and you can also consult our reaction videos below. You can also check out photos of each act in our daily blog post. Then let us know who won you over!

Poll: Who had the best first rehearsal at Eurovision 2022 on Tuesday?

You can vote for as many acts as you’d like, but you can only vote one time. Be sure to tick the box next to each country you want to support.

So who did you vote for? Who do you think has improved their chances to make it to the grand final? Let us know in the comments box below!

The thing people should understand, As Wiwibloggs said, Why should Sweden fix what ain’t broken?.

Her performance is about intimicy and there are many close shoots on Cornelia, which suits her and the song. We might not see enough changes thru this rehearshale, but I think they’ve improved different camera angles and close shoots. We will see it on the semi.
She has Synesthesia and thats why she has a big round green circle.

Sometimes less is more.

She doesn’t have Synesthesia. She was asked about it in an interview and she had no clue what it was.

Well just because you don’t know what it is doesn’t mean that you don’t have it..

She basically explained why she had the big green circle and she didn’t know that was called Synesthesia.

Yeah, she explained why she had green circle. Its called being creative.
And actually if you dont know what something is and you specificaly do not confirm and announce that you have it, than everybody in the world should assume that you don’t have it.
Just because you want to diagnose somebody, because you think its cool, it doesnt mean its the truth.
Have some respect to Cornelia.

People all talking about how great was Ireland yesterday, based on 4 photos and an useless video. I love Brooke as a person but her song is still not good enough to make it imo. Plus, let me remember you that everyone was so hyped by Lesley Roy staging after first rehearsal. We all know what a mess was the complete performance.
Not here to push down Ireland, I’ll be really happy for Brooke if she nails it. My point is that everyone should wait a little bit before judging, 2nd rehearsals only begin today and we’ll see more.

Sweden is steadily good, the Swedes know how to deliver. On the other hand, Poland kind of disappointed me. The song is good, especially some parts and he has a great voice. However the staging ruins any chances of doing very well. The creatures dont work for me and don’t find them appropriate for the song. Also, Ochman is just singing standing awkwardly on stage. Also, his face on the semi LEDs does not add something to the performance. They could have done a much better job with staging. Good luck to Poland and all the other entries.

There are going to be some flops this year… I don’t like any song from the second half of the 2nd semi…

For me its: cyprus, israel, australia… the rest I really dont even care…

Cyprus I love the staging and the song, I listen to it every day..
Israel I like the message and for some reason I feel strong when I listen to the song..
Australia his voice and his emotions.. omg..

Sweden doesn’t make big chances when they really need them, why would someone think they would do it when they already have everything figured out? Still a great immersive performance in my books. This half of the semi seems to be more dependant on good camera work than the first. For example, Poland can look awesome or messy. I personally have a good feeling about it. But what impressed me the most today is the use of lights on the Czech performance. If Dominika nails her vocals, I believe they’re in.

I was really into Sweden, but I have now seen the video so many times that the staging feels samey and the ‘felt gestures’ choreographed. Czech Republic came out better than I expected. And Ireland. The black sun dampens the Estonian and Romanian entries…

So many parallels between Ochman and Gijon 2021. Best vocal delivery…dark, avant garde staging that is divisive….

Confident this will be top 5…because it’s quality..

I wasn’t feeling it today at all, generally. I actually preferred Day 3 to Day 4. I liked Poland’s choreography the best today, from an artistic standpoint. It was divisive though. Obviously Sweden is bringing the same as in MelFest, so that’s fine. Czech Republic and Ireland both really gave their all. Ironically low moment of the day ironically ended up being probably the most memorable: Those broken up words on the blocked LED screen for Romania! 😛 After today, I’m worried about most of these in terms of qualification. Sweden is probably the only safe qualifier here. Ouff, tough… Read more »

There are three songs that kind of surprised me. One did it in a positive way: Montenegro. I mean, it is the typical classic ballad, but the color chosen for both the dress and the lighting really helps to sell the song. It looks very polished and elegant. “Breath” is in my bottom 5 but with this performance and visuals it could qualify. The other two did it in a negative way: Poland and Sweden. It’s not like Sweden’s one is bad but the fact they didn’t change anything at all. In my opinon they could have reworked the staging… Read more »

Unfortunately Poland’s lack of stage presence does hinder his chances of doing well. His voice is incredible but that’s not enough to win Eurovision. Or even qualify. Also what’s with the suit??

In the backstage footage the suit looks good but on that dark stage it’s too dark.
Maybe he’s going for a classic Pavarotti look but it’s not working for me.

Why shame on me ? It’s the reality of Ireland currently in Eurovision, it’s won’t improve until it’s accepted that we are soo lacklustre in Eurovision. It’s like an alcoholic who won’t admit they have a problem. We
Had same comments last year with the Irish entry. How much Lesley was “improving” with every performance and “saving herself” for the live shows. Dream on

I mean I personally love the many flickering lights so much, it reminded me of the 2016 entry, that’s not a bad thing for me! I now also can enjoy the song much easier, considering the staging now perfectly fits the music! Czech Republic joined my qualifiers!

Swedens staging is still a eyesore for me, I find it assaulting like Tusse last year with just far too much lights.
Sweden will have a John Lundvik style result, high with the Juries but, the televote is lower than expected.

That is a real shame though as Hold Me Closer is one of the few songs this year that I won’t be mad at to see win.

And I think Sweden will get over 100 points in televoting. Even more in fact. I don’t see her winning jury-vote surprisingly. Maybe in the semi but not fnal. Problem with Tusse was that it wasn’t a good song. At all. Cornelia has a strong song and that strentght is what counts.

Good points, and I agree with the +100 points in the televoting but I do see it capping off at the 130-135 mark. This has winner potential but, she does need to place very high in the Jury vote to secure it and I unfortunately don’t see it for Cornelia. I’m Sorry. Based of what we have, I say that the UK is in contention to win this entire thing, the Jury vote in my opinion Sam has completely sewn up, based on historical Jury winners over the past few years & traditional Jury voting criteria, Sam and SPACE MAN… Read more »

How is France last year anyway comparable to Sweden this year? France last year was Edith Piaf realness revised for a new generation, Sweden this year is giving us some major Lana Del Rey vibes so just because their slow songs you think they are comparable? To a lot of people, the lights can be extremely off putting, Tusse last year was a prime example of that and those lights is probably what did John Lundvik a hard time in 2019, it is just overkill. I would love to see Cornelia score highly with the public but, the public is… Read more »
