Denmark’s Reddi “The Show” — Eurovision 2022 second rehearsal
Padraig:Â Denmark’s biggest issue all season has been the song. “The Show” has an odd structure, and while some might appreciate how they transform a Broadway-style ballad into a rock-lite number, it’s potentially too jarring for the Eurovision stage. The ballad segment drags on for too long, while the rock number is too by the numbers. The women of Reddi give it their all, but when compared to the group numbers earlier in the running order from Latvia, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Moldova, this simply doesn’t stack up.Â

finland, you have to bring more gays to românia
This stands out compared to the rest of the running of this semi. There is literally nothing like it, even in the whole contest. Their staging is good, the vocals are good the structure is very interesting and the chorus is very catchy. I think they have a great chance of qualification this year. Good luck Denmark!
I really like this, it’s a nice playful rock inspired entry that is complimented with the energy and the cohesion the band shares together!
Good luck Denmark, sadly I’m unable to vote since my country (Finland) isn’t in the same semifinal.
I find the lyrics very uninspiring – but I appreciate the group’s energy and chemistry, they really give it their all and certainly rock the stage. I wish for them that they had a more compelling song.
Non qualifier. Its good but there are better songs. The competition is strong.
To be honest, “The Show” has been in my top 3 the whole NF season. I think it’s better that most people think and certainly they are putting a good show here. Wouldn’t be crazy to think Denmark will qualify.
I don’t get the hate for this song and they are actually pretty decent live
This chorus is such an ear-worm. It could clinch 9th or 10th in semi, but it’s a long shot.
Feels a bit static for me. It doesn’t seem as if they fill the stage well. Good vocals though.
I’m in respectful disagreement with Padriag on this one; I like the variety of styles, and the band really does give it their all. Some people will like it. 🙂
