Over the past week our jaws have dropped as the artists of Eurovision 2022 unveiled their stage shows in Torino. Even if the kinetic sun has morphed into a rainbow of death, the acts are still turning up and turning out, proving that they and their teams have creative solutions to work around the mechanical failure that initially left delegations scratching their heads.
Now that you’ve seen snippets of all the rehearsals, listened to commentary and had a chance to take notes, we have a very important question for you: Who should win Eurovision 2022?
You have 40 choices. You can vote for as many artists as you would like, but you can only vote ONE time. Be sure to click the box next to each act before hitting submit. Then let us know who you voted for in the comments box down below.
If it helps, you can re-watch our rehearsal reactions and interviews at the end of this post.
Eurovision is a big Mafia all around they like to staby each other.
Like Spain and Italy France they not give point’s to Portugal.
They a big bulchit.
Portugal never learn they need to give them 000000000000000000000
The Netherlands should win, for the song and they know how to build a stage that is doing what it should do?
Even if Ukraine wins, and Eurovision 2023 will be held in another country. I can still assume that Russia will not return.
Since it must either restore the economy, or create its own equivalent of Eurovision, or either hold agreements to end the war
I think we will see a very exciting competition on Saturday. This year’s competition is very tough and I can’t even predict who could win and it’s sooo exciting. My only hope (I hope, I hope :D) is that Estonia will get to the Grand Final on Saturday and that Stefan will get a good place. I don’t think he’ll win, but I want him to do well. TOP10 would be nice, but we’ll see, because like I said…competition is tough. Although I think every artist really deserves to win, but I think it would be cool if the victory… Read more »
Top 5 by juries
Top 5 by televoting
Italy would win again (and I hope so)
There is no way the United Kingdom is not within the juries’ top 5.
After having reviewed all songs again, the verdict is as follows.
Pure quality: Portugal and Italy. Best songs for play list: Armenia and Czechia. Guilty pleasures: Albania and Georgia. Horror songs: Poland and Australia (with many more close contestants). Predicted winner: Ukraine (fine with me).
I’d love the UK to win just because I think it’s the best chance we’ve had in ages, but my absolute favourite song this year is the Dutch entry – I’m obsessed with it – don’t think she’ll win though. I don’t like the Greek song at all nor the message it portrays – way too dark for me. I think it’ll come down to Sweden, UK or Italy and I would imagine that’ll be the top 3 but no idea in which order. Ukraine, not my kind of song although I appreciate why people like it – should make… Read more »
Give me a surprise !
Juries top 3 :
Ukraine will win and Esc 23 will be held in Poland
No. The way things are going right now, they will be more than able to hold it at home. I’ll put short money on Lviv next time, should they win. It used to be part of Poland, and Poland has been quite generous.
ukraine doesn’t have the money. bombs are an issue as well. lviv sees them from time to time. but the economy is the real issue. it’s in freefall with an expensive war ongoing and even more expensive restoration pending when the war ends.
I’m generally quite good at making predictions for the winner. But this year… I have no freaking idea, this is very exciting 😛 I wouldn’t mind any of the bookies’ t top 5 winning honestly.
I just dare to hope for a top 10 for France though, TAAAAAN DEEE’I!!!!
Oh and good luck to everybody :p
Oh btw my winner is Portugal 🙂
This Saturday is going to have the biggest momentum for some countries. I think it’s hard to predict two potential winners compared to last year (Italy and France). The result will somehow surprise us.
Malta, Cyprus and Iceland have never won though participating since the 1970s and 1980s. I’m afraid they each had their chance in 2021, 2018 and 2020 respectively. Pity!
I am sorry, but I hope Spain doesn’t win because then next year we will get all those dance numbers. Please Eurovision God, please don’t do it.
As everyone knows, in Spain we do nothing but dancing.
I tend to think that eurofans do not have so many prejudices as the rest of the world. This type of comments prove me wrong.
Am i the only one who feels like Sweden and Italy are starting to loose steam? I dont get the winner vibe anymore when i see the rehearsals of them, the winner vibe has moved over to United Kingdom and Spain. Italy and Sweden could still win of course but i just dont get that gut feeling anymore
I completely get what you mean, but it is worth noting that Sweden and somewhat Italy are similarly staged to their national finals, and I do wonder if that plays a role in this general perception that they have lost steam and then considering that people watching for the first time won’t be having that experience it will all be exciting and new. I also acknowledge Spain’s choreography is mostly the same, but with some exciting new flourishes including costume and this fan. I’m not saying it’s the only reason people seem to be cooling on Sweden and Italy but… Read more »
This might become the most exciting year ever. I dont think there has ever been such an unclear winner ever. Usually its pretty obvious who will win, or at least there is 2 countries that are battling it out for the win. But this year i could literally see 7 countries win, if not even more
True but last year was also very open.
There is no clear winner for us, the eurofans. The odds have it very clear and they are rarely wrong. My winner is the UK, though.
I dont know if i would trust the odds so much, i could put a hundred thousand on lithuania and it would skyrocket to number one. They have Ukraine at first and honestly i dont think Ukraine is even finishing top 5.
yeah odds don’t work like that. money drives them but also reality, math, volume and arbitrage.
I think that every year that there’s no clear winner one should be afraid of Sweden. They are always so high in juries and that can make them win. Personally speaking, I wish Greece wins. My other choice would be Spain (that’d be fun).
happy eurovision week to all ….. Greetings to those who will win …. and fu*k all those mental illnesses that offend bullish and homophobic people
Not Sweden and Ukraine again
France really deserves to win this year. It’s original, ethnic, spectacular.
Alvan & Ahez are so accessible, friendly, mystic, sexy and classy. We are very far from the competitors from Sweden or Spain, and “diva” syndrome. Unfortunately, I quickly understood that it will not yet be for this year. I still hope a top 10 for them, even if it will depend on their order of passage.
My personal favorites are France, Poland, The Netherlands, Serbia, Italy and the UK.
I think that the Victory race will be between the UK, Serbia, Poland, Greece and Ukraine. I am sorry for spanish fans but I don’t think Chanel could be the winner.
I don’t think it’s a good song. I think Chanel is just a good ‘performer’. It’s not the same. Sorry guys…
Tanxungueiro dectected, you are so predictable. Always the same message.
Read more »
Si… Read more »
Read more »
Voted for Ukraine, Cyprus, United Kingdom, Ireland and Israel from Armenia.
My winner is Ukraine, the runner-up is United Kingdom.
Can someone please tell me how can Croatia on the odds be at place around 20 to win the competition when odds for even qualifying are so low that they are almost at last place by the bookies
because odds to win are the odds to win, odds to qualify are the odds to qualify
You just can not say Croatia has bigger chance of winning than Israel and at the same time say that Croatia has less chance to qualify than Israel e.g.
yes you can. semis and finals dont have the same competition and voter base.
Best song: Italy
Full package and deserves to win: UK
Additional vote goes to Norway and San Marino: They have done their homework and brings a good song and a show to esc 2022
Not in the running for me personally:
Sweden (too generic)
Spain (great choreography – hopeless song)
Poland (great voice – overrated song attempting another Arcade)
Netherlands (like it … but there not space for everyone)
Typo: They have done their homework and bring a good …
My winners this year: Norway, Serbia, Portugal, Poland, Italy, Finland, San Marino
I also like UK, but it isn’t in my top 5
Does anyone know when the ad breaks will happening in both semi finals?
Inthink after 6 and 12 🙂
I don’t really care much about who ends up winning. I just hope some of my favorites make the final
It has been such an unpredictable year and it is quite fun actually. Last year competition was also very open with anyone can win situation untli the last minute. After rehearsals Italy was a clear winner for me and I think for most of us. However this year I can’t say ”this country sure is gonna win..” and I love this unpredictability lol. Odds are still very much favoring the Ukraine. I am not seeing them to win but they seem to be in top 5 for sure. Spain could win and it will be the biggest pilot twist ever… Read more »
Because the race is so wide open it suits Ukraine. An incredibly strong televote may be enough for Ukraine with okish jury. Gonna be interesting
I believe UK, Spain or Serbia will win. But my personal favorites are France, UK, Netherlands, and Serbia, in that order.
I just hope Sweden or Italy don’t win. And I have nothing against Chanel, she’s a sunshine, but I’m tired of Spanish fans and I hope they just get a very good result and keep the motivation up for the next year.
My favourite is The Netherlands, but I agree with you. I’ve had different opinion couple of days ago, but now I think that the race is between UK, Serbia and Spain. I wouldn’t count out Sweden no matter the drop in the odds. They will do great with the jury votes which could mess up Spain or Serbia for example. I am from Serbia and I am really excited that we are at least close to the top 10 this year and as someone being very critical to our representatives I am very happy that this year we have a… Read more »
Sweden is my favorite and Spain is my second favorite. I would be equally happy if either won.
Why not have a poll when we know the qualifiers? This is pointless.
At this point, I don’t really care who wins as I have lots of favorite acts with actual potential with the jury, televote and odds, soooo I’ll just say that it’s gonna be a bloodbath between Ukraine, Sweden, Spain, the UK and Italy. my money on Ukraine atm.
I really think UK is going to win. It reminds me of 1997. Bring it home Sam.
UK will not win this year. UK’s last winner will remain the American Katrina.
Uk is also my winner, and I am not British.
Here we are it’s time for the most important wiwi poll of the year, well my top 10 in random order because I love the song and I’d love to see my country winning once in my life, it’s legit no and moreover with that song I would be ecstatic so my top is like that Uk, Poland, Norway, The Netherlands, France, Albania, Czech Republic, Austria, Israel, Romania , yeah I love the underdogs because they are the only one who could surprise us the next week and not those already on the top of the different polls. Now who… Read more »
As we can’t correct a comment here, I meant, “I put my country into it because I love the song and I’d love to see my country winning once in my life….”
I feel like the UK and Spain have the biggest momentum to go on and win it. then Sweden, Italy still in with a chance, but I feel the momentum has fallen behind a bit. (They need to fix those vocals). Ukraine… I’m just not sure they are going score high enough with the jury.
Armenia would be dream 😉
I would honestly be happy with anyone between Greece, Italy, Lithuania, The Netherlands, Portugal, Serbia, Sweden and Ukraine winning. Kinda hoping for a surprise winner for a change, hopefully coming from the group I mentioned.
Want Italy, UK win this year 🙂 But would also happy if Spain wins because they have been waiting for long time since 1960s for winning. Don’t want Sweden or Ukraine to win
I voted for Spain, Albania and Portugal. As a Brit, I’m not voting for Sam yet as I’m keeping my expectations muted. Too many times I’ve been falsely lured into this “we’re nailed on top 5” and then we end up 17th, 4th last or straight last. So I’m just letting our act do the talking and seeing if Europe responds. As for the favourites, I think Ukraine will grow on me throughout the week as it’s very catchy but staging will depend if I like it more. Sweden’s entry feels too slick and as much as there is a… Read more »
1- Ukraine (for musical but also political reasons)
4- United Kingdom
I’m from Italy and even though I love our song, our duo, I hope Portugal or Serbia will win (two great and original songs). Maybe I’m the only in Europe that don’t like so much Spain, Uk and Sweden. Sorry guys.
You’re not the only one 😉
I don’t want to be a Spanish fan on Sunday Morning..
I’d love to be a spanish fan on Sunday morning… Whatever the result this is the best perfomance this year
Well is not the best perfomance , but is one potetional top5 for me. One of the best.
For sure Top9 after 20 years, yeah, we are gonna be very sad and bad XD.
We want to win, of course, but in any case it is gonna be a great result for us.
Same than Uk
Poland or Sweden
Completely offtopic but I feel sorry when people get downvoted for expressing a preference so lately I make it my job to browse all comments and upvote those with negative scores even if I don’t agree with them. Let’s leave the downvotes for hateful or aggressive speech please!
Getting pluses or minuses essentially means someone agrees or disagrees with your opinion but they can’t be bothered to write an actual reply.
If seeing people disagree with other people triggers you, then you probably shouldn’t be reading comments in the first place.
Australia, Czechia, France, Greece, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, UK, in alphabetical order. Good luck to all participants! 🙂
Sadly, it’s a snooze fest this year with many overrated songs, such as top three in this poll: Spain, UK and Sweden.
Sweden or Italy!
Expressing a personal preference and being downvoted from some toxic fans because he didn’t say UK or Spain. Thos who downvoted him, deserve their country gets zero points from jury and tele votes. No mercy for the toxic fans.
I’m hoping for a Portugal win this year. I will vote for it in both SF and GF.
Greetings from the Netherlands!
I sadly forgot to choose San Marino, but I can say that I also hope they’ll win!!
I’m not expecting a San Marino win, but if they can best Serhat’s 2019 finish, I think that will be a win for San Marino in the accomplishments column. But I sure love an underdog, which is why it’s so easy for me to root for San Marino most years.
