Eurovision winners Kalush Orchestra are auctioning off their Eurovision trophy and staging a raffle for their signature pink bucket hat, which frontman Oleh Psiuk wore onstage in Turin, in aid of the Ukrainian Army.
Oleh announced the auction and raffle on his official Instagram account on the 25th May and has been keeping us updated on the amount of money raised so far via Instagram stories.
By the end of the first day, the band raised over 60,000€ in aid of the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation, which helps support the Ukrainian Army.
“We won the Eurovision Song Contest and now we want to help Ukraine to win the war,” Oleh said. “I want to sell this bucket hat and all the money will go for Ukrainian Army.”

The bucket hat and the Eurovision trophy will be sold separately.
It costs 200 Ukrainian hryvnas (roughly 5€) to enter the raffle to win Oleh’s iconic pink bucket hat, which he wore as he stormed to victory at Eurovision 2022 in Turin. Donations are being accepted at the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation’s Monobank page.
200 hryvnas equals one entry and you are free to enter the raffle as many times as you like, with the winner being selected at random from the donors. Of course, the more donations you make, the greater your chances of taking the famous bucket hat home.
Separately, the Eurovision trophy will be awarded to the person who makes the biggest donation to the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation.
The foundation are also accepting cryptocurrency donations, and the person who makes the biggest total donation, combining both cryptocurrency and traditional money, will receive the 2022 Eurovision trophy.
The competition closes on May 28th.
“Every euro of your donation can save the lives of Ukrainian soldiers,” said charity founder Serhiy Prytula on an Instagram post.
