Ever since the unfortunate cancellation of Eurovision 2020, song contest organisers have required broadcasters to film backup performances in case an act can’t make it to the stage in May. Now, the EBU is releasing almost all of the Live On Tape recordings for Turin 2022.

The recordings are being released on the official Eurovision channel across a period of 10 days and the publication schedule is following the semi-final running orders. Today, Monday 20 June, we’re getting three more songs from semi-final two — San Marino’s Achille Lauro, Ireland’s Brooke and North Macedonia‘s Andrea. Australia and Cyprus have opted not to release their tapes. The remaining acts will follow over the coming days.

Eurovision 2022 Live On Tape Performances

San Marino’s Achille Lauro – “Stripper”

Ireland’s Brooke – “That’s Rich”

North Macedonia’s Andrea – “Circles”

Ó mo Dhia…. gosh the Irish presentation, staging, dress etc. is even worse than the Late Late Donal (even if it looks like same studio)

I gotta admit that despite being amongst my faves this year, I am surprised by North Macedonia’s and Ireland’s LoTs this year. They really did a great job! 🙂
Ps: Andrea and Brooke deserved to make it to the final 🙁
Ps2: Why did more countries withheld their LoTs this year? xd

Props to North Macedonia for producing such slick staging for the live on tape!

I’d love to see Eurovision in Skopje one day, it’s a really interesting city and I’m sure the North Macedonian government would put their all into producing a great show.

To be fair it was shot in Belgrade, same as Vladana’s LoT. They used the Pesma za Evroviziju 2022 stage.

Brooke’s LoT was actually good. Nice. Turin was better but the LoT was good.

People will always be complaining about how “cheap” the LateLate studio could be, but the result production-wise ended up better than in ESCSemis.
I hope Ireland will be releasing LiveOnTapes next year, because it shows how good they can stage in such small studios.

I agree the only way it could of been better was if they had pyro in the LoT. It also makes me wonder how maps LoT was last year

I would count this as the Maps LoT. The outdoor atmosphere matches what she’s singing about. Shame the concept couldn’t be enough transferred into a studio.

Also, Brooke was pretty good, but I think her semi-final performance was better

OMG, North Macedonia was amazing here, in comparison to the semi-final! Why didn’t they just use this staging?
