For the last few months, Chanel fans have been craving new music from the “SloMo” diva. Now, it finally seems closer: She’s just signed with Sony.
Chanel’s deal with BMG includes a deal with Columbia in France. Also, Podwall Entertainment will handle her management and Creative Artist Agency (CAA) and Ziffren Brittenham LLP will run her legal issues.
You’ll recall that Chanel had several issues with BMG, her previous label. Jordi told you everything about it in this post below.
Now, it seems that the follow up for “SloMo” may be closer. A new label, and a date for her album: 2023.
Chanel shared how happy she felt in a tweet earlier on Friday.

Fans did notice one small thing. Chanel used a lot of “Ks” in it… where they shouldn’t be. In Spanish, “K” and “Q” usually have the same sound, but the correct spelling on the words in her tweet would be with a “Q”.
Could that be a hint or are we overthinking absolutely everything? I blame Taylor Swift.
Good but they wasted her potential after ESC which is sad…
Good for her! Hopefully she will debut her new single by the time Benidorm Festival rolls around.
This is great news and a great move! My best wishes to Chanel!
