After a week of rehearsals, the stage is finally ready for Junior Eurovision 2022 this Sunday 11 December. The online voting platform is now live ahead of the contest and the public can finally have their say on who should win this year’s contest.

Once again, the public vote for the 2022 contest is being done online. After watching a clip of the rehearsals from each act, you can vote for three countries (including your own country should you wish to).

But, since the result of the Junior Eurovision 2022 voting is kept behind closed doors until the actual event, we thought we’d run our own poll to see who you’ve voted for. Hopefully, this should give us some insight into where the points may be going at the end of Sunday’s show.

Scroll down to vote in the poll

Armenia came out on top of our pre-rehearsal poll. The United Kingdom and the Netherlands followed closely behind in second and third respectively. But have you had a change of heart after watching the rehearsal footage of each act?

If you haven’t already, be sure to go and vote over at vote.junioreurovision.tv. Then come back here and vote in our poll for the exact same countries.

As with the official voting, you’ll be limited to a maximum of three countries and will only be able to vote once. This is a flash poll and it will only stay open for 24 hours (although you have until 15:59 CET on Sunday 11 December to vote in the actual contest).

Poll: Who have you voted for in Junior Eurovision 2022?

Who are you voting for in Junior Eurovision 2022? How have your thoughts changed since seeing the rehearsal footage? Let us know in the comments below!

Spain, The Netherlands and Portugal. I hope Ukraine doesn’t get a massive televote. In this case, I think it’s harder cause they’d to vote for two other countries too.

Even though I voted for Portugal, I think Nicolas should reduce the use of vocal fry. It’s cool to use it here and there but it can become irritating if that technique is used for the whole song.

I’m so happy to see that Serbia is getting some love at long last! Svet Bez Granica was in my top 3 the moment the song dropped, and the pics of the staging I’ve seen so far (I’m not watching rehearsal video footage to keep the live show a surprise) it looks wonderful! I hope the juries too will give Katarina some love. Also happy to see Ireland in 2nd on the poll. Sophie deserves to rake in a record result for Ireland this year <3

I didn’t want Armenia to win again even if she was my 2nd favorite based on studio version but now I’m pretty sure she’s gonna win. I mean the song is great, the staging seems to be really efficient and she sings really well.
I will vote from different devices (a lot) and I will vote like if I had 12, 10, 8, …. pts to give. So I will vote for my top 10.

I voted for the Uk, Ireland and Malta yesterday, and here are the reasons why UK: Because I really think the song is excellent and appeals to a very wide audience across Europe, the staging is excellent but it is unfortunate she can’t sing live on the rehearsal, but the decision to rest her voice is the right one, potentially making sure the performance on Sunday is great. Ireland: The song is beautiful and has a folky/ethnic feel to it and is sung in Gaelic, which is a beautiful language for such a song. The staging is also excellent, very… Read more »

Some thoughts: I feel like all is already well prepared like in 2019 for Poland, so be prepared. Uk, The Netherlands, Armenia and Spain will have the most support online they are the more “mainstreams”. For the jury I don’t know, Kazakhstan, Albania, Ireland, Serbia, Georgia, France. The Jesc EBU Team published a short rehearsal vid of Lissandro where he was in difficulty not able to hear himself in the ears and they decided to publish exactly this moment….They deleted it on youtube after many complaints but it’s still on their IG. How they can humiliate a child like that… Read more »

I don’t understand the hype over Georgia! The girl Sounds really terrible live!! The worst act, such a disappointed, in comparison to studio version… this is the result when ppl behind selection create too mature song for a kid contest… it Completely doesnt suit that kid, her voice, and vibe of the children competition. And the clothes are terrible, Georgia Made a significant progress since Bzikebi HAHAHA! The song is decent enough but for another artist (maybe adult)… Ireland, for example, has a very mature song too but it suits the girl much better, she performs confident and seems to… Read more »

Georgia’s vocals are fine. All of yesterdays rehearsals had bad sound mixing, some worse than others and Ireland was one of the lesser affected whereas Georgia and the Netherlands were affected for example.

The online voting seems very weird this year. In previous years when you refreshed the page, it said your vote is counted already but now I did the same and it just let’s you vote again.. which means you could vote endless times if you wanted and have the energy, I guess.. (you could do that in Incognito previous years)

Nevertheless these are the ones I voted for (on 4 different devices)
UK 2x
Ireland 2x
Kazakhstan 2x
Georgia 2x
Armenia 1x
Netherlands 1x
Italy 1x
Portugal 1x

Armenia IS located in Asia, and so is Kazakhstan, Georgia and also Israel and Azerbaijan who have competed in the past. There’s of course also Australia’s appearances, and we’ve also seen Morocco compete in ESC 1980, and almost saw a debut for Lebanon at ESC 2005. Eurovision has long gone beyond European borders

As much as I love the UK’s entry, I don’t think it’s fair to judge them all based on live vocals and Freya with playback (understandable playback as she’s ill of course)
Therefore, didn’t vote for her and I might do that after the show if she’s also good live

For now, I voted on two devices to:
Armenia – 2 votes
Serbia, Ireland, Kazakhstan and Georgia – 1 vote

And I still want to vote for more countries! They’re all so good!
