I hope that the staging elevates many of these songs. As it is, my top 4 are, in a random order: Let 3, Harmonija Disonance, The Splitters, and Hana Mašic. Whoever among them has the best performance is my choice to vote for.

I really want for Damir to go to Eurovision eventually, but I think that Angels and Demons ain’t the song for that to happen. The verses are good, but I’m not a fan of that chorus.

Agreed. She could be higher than people expect. Great vocals, good song

Barbara Munjas has actually got one of my favorite entries of the entire season, but she’s sadly got no chance. Should really have internally selected her with that same song, would have been something so much more interesting than usual from Croatia.

Honestly if Nevera wins it will fade away bcs it literally is in the same half of the semi final like Czech Republic. I feel as if Hana Masic will surprise us tomorrow

The Splitters should win!
Other songs are either dull or too bizarre!

Don’t know why all the hate for Nevera, absolutely amazing song. We’ll see everything after the live performances but fingers crossed to Harmonia Dissonance!

Haters always speak up louder than lovers. That’s just the internet for you–negativity reigns supreme.

Nevera has potential , needs a revamp , vocals are fine and on point, but the orchestral arrangement, music etc needs a big ethno-techno oomph.

Harmonija Disonance, ?ana and Damir Kedžo all have good songs and I hope one of them is selected. Let3 is a funny entry, but more appropriate for local and regional markets, not for Eurovision. Good luck Croatia! Greetings from Serbia

I think that Damir could win too. He’s good live and with just a little bit of a good staging and somewhat of a flop from the favourite, that would be all he needed to steal the win.

Only let 3

This overhyped demo crap is not what we need, we need great jokee ntry that will blow minds

As the poll suggests, I think Croatia only have on really solid chance at qualification which is Nevera. Its fun and interesting.

That being said, Marko was my choice last year (again not really close at all) and Croatia didnt select him so I’m not 100% confident the fan favourite will be selected.

I looked at who has given high televoting points to Croatia in recent years, and, sadly, it has been mostly the Balkan countries, Austria and Switzerland, with the exception of Albina, who got some 5-7 points from other countries as well, and 2017 when they were a televote pleaser. Without the 12 points from North Macedonia and Slovenia, Albina would have been a televote non qualifier as well. Will have to wait and see if the winner of Dora will be a televote pleaser like 2017 was, because this year they only have Serbia and Switzerland for the friendly vote.… Read more »

I guess it has already decided that Nevera is winning this. Suddenly, they got the last spot in the running order and we know what it means in Dora, in 2022 and 2020 last songs scored heavily with the televoters and so did Albina in 2021 performing second-to-last before a dead on arrival show closer. So, this will add them even more points from neutral viewers that they could’ve got from any spot. Let 3 are also close the the end (third-to-last) but I can’t see them putting a fight here with both juries and televoters

Karma came back for Croatia when they last allegedly rigged it. They should have begged Nina to return.

Don’t be so sure about it. I live in Croatia and from what I’ve seen in my circles, people would rather vote Let 3.

Norway selected their song last week. I think you mean Denmark and I noticed you left off Romania and Malta. I take it you’re probably not a fan of those selections come up but they are selecting tomorrow. Tomorrow is going to be busy.

I’m not feeling Croatia this year. Harmonija sounds too monotonous to me. It lacks some Nina Kraljic. I wouldn’t be pleased if this one ends up making it to Eurovision. If Nina lost to a pointless, annoying, shouty pop tune, this way less good ethno song should at least lost to Damir who isn’t that bad.

Agree about Harmonija, but Damir has one of the worst songs in whole selection season.
I would prefer some Croatian rock – Let 3, Kreso or Detour. Would be good for the diversity.

It’s not that I think it’s good but I don’t have any other act I really like and Damir was one of my favorites in 2020. Not so sure winning with this song would work out well for him though. And why English? His accent is fine but he should have stuck to better Croatian songwriters.

I had Damir quite high in 2020 as well, but I don’t think this is the song he should go to Eurovision with.
