Only NQ here, so it doesn’t matter. No enty with the Popper of Hora din Moldova or Zdob ?i Zdub’s entries, Sunstrike Project missing the special and bland. Really a pity. Expected better from Moldova.

Hoping for Aliona Moon or Pasha Parfeni’s comeback.

I want the grandmas or Aliona to win. Aliona has the best song and If Moldova spends money on a revamp and interesting staging the grandmas could achieve a result that channels Hora din Moldova. I like Pasha’s song but Aliona’s is more experimental and interesting and I can’t stand his homophobic ass. The Moldovan national final has become really boring, like it’s the same names every year…

Pasha Parfeni would be an easy choice for me.

Pasha for the win!! His song is such an ethnic bop and he has all the charisma to sing it well live. Cmon Moldova, choose well! Don’t go for Sunstroke Project just because they did well last time! We already have one song in the same vein of style anyway…

That sunstroke project song….there is only so much of the same thing a person can take. Last time was really good. This song is woeful!

Ok so I voted for Pasha without hesitation
I really don’t want Sunstroke Project to come back this year, I feel like they would destroy their own Eurovision legacy with this entry
Compared to Malta, this song would take a massive L
We don’t have anyone like Pasha or Aliona this year (yet), so please, Moldova, consider choosing one of them

Sunstroke Project. The song is not great, but from the point of view of a producer, they would make the best television. They are talented performers who will probably bring memorable staging. The song itself will somehow feel better when we see it live.

One of six, at the time of writing, voting for Nördika.

Love the grandmas (Surorile Osoianu). Though even if they go to the ESC, it may end as either Russia 2012 or Poland 2019.

Aliona’s song and voice are very pleasant to listen to. So, go Aliona!
Btw she was very underrated back in 2013.

But it will likely be sunstroke project. I guarantee it. Then again, I thought that wedding band would win in Romania but they didn’t. We’ll see what happens on March 4.

Same was said about Ulrikke, Marco Mengoni, and Damir Kedzo…and only one of them actually won. So I don’t think Sunstroke Project has this in the bag just yet.

Only chose Pasha because if Sunstroke Project go, there is gonna be too much competition with Malta, which suprisngly based on song, the Busker COULD actually win!

Based on the song, The Busker *should* win that comparison, but I’m afraid that based on the marquee value, SunStroke Project likely would. And I want for Malta to qualify, to show how changing the pace pays out.

Real question is whether moldova can resist a violent invasion by russia and still compete. I am scared for them.

I heard that Russia have their own enclave inside the tiny country. Suprised it hasn’t fallen yet. They could also invade Estonia.

Russia is barely holding onto the fronts they have in Ukraine, I don’t even think they are stupid enough to attack another country and def not NATO member like Estonia

NORDIKA are memorable for how gloriously ridiculous their live performance was, but for Liverpool I’d probably have to go with Aliona here.

All my favorites have been knocked out already so I am not very invested in this final. Of the choices available, Pasha Parfeni would be the one I would go with.

Aliona for me

I’ve spent too much time on this not to comment on my top 10 here. So: Aliona Moon – The big standout. The song is dark, atmospheric, and beautiful. It needs an oomph on stage a’la Blanca Paloma, and it will amaze. Pasha Parfeny – Very cool song. The beat is slick, the melody is memorable, it has a good hook. It gets slightly repetitive, but a good staging could take care of that. Corina Ivanov – A very pretty ballad. With a good vocal performance and a better staging, it could be something. This way it wasn’t that memorable,… Read more »

It’s Pasha’s turn: Aliana and Sunstroke have each already been to Eurovision twice. (And Sunstroke might be too similar to Malta.)

Aliona has been twice: once on her own, and once as Pasha’s backing singer/dancer. And Pasha has been twice: once on his own, and as the pianist when Aliona was on her own.

Aliona Moon and Pasha are the best candidates here. If they choose either of these, Moldova will be in my top 3.

If they choose Sunstroke Project, Moldova will be as low as Croatia or Romania in my ranking.
