It’s a full Eurovision weekend thanks to Poland’s Tu bije serce Europy 2023. By the end of the day, one act will have emerged victorious and will need to start planning a trip to Eurovision in Liverpool.
On Friday, we opened a flash poll to hear your thoughts on who should win the national final.
A total of 2,721 votes were submitted. After verifying everything, we can now present the results…
Jann is a favourite to win Tu bije serce Europy 2023
It’s clear that y’all are rooting for one act in particular. Jann won this poll in a landslide and secured around two thirds of the vote — 66.56%, which is 1,811 votes.
Even before the competing acts were announced, many had Jann and his song “Gladiator” down as a strong option for Poland. He now goes into Tu bije serce Europy 2023 as the frontrunner and the one to beat.
Second place goes to Poland’s Eurovision 2020 entrant Alicja. She’s attempting to finally make it to the contest following the cancellation that year.
She’s coming with the ballad “New Home”. A way behind Jann, Alicja earned 272 votes (10%).

Do you agree with the results? Is Jann the one to beat at Tu bije serce Europy 2023? Let us know in the comments below.
I really liked Dominik. Likeable. And very good and clean vocals
Know what time it’s starting? I tuned in to TVP and it STILL hasn’t started but other sites are telling me it should have started?!
I just don’t get the love. It could have been very powerful, but it looks like it’s trying to be weird just for the sake of it.
Anybody know what is going on? According to Eurovoix, it should have started by now but it doesn’t seem to be happening on the stream yet!
I bet William love this hates Terry Wogan who was the legend
I’m almost a bit scared that he’ll fall flat, anyone know of how he is live?
There’s a video of his rehearsal that’s been released in Youtube from some hours ago, here’s a link, if you want of course, it’s only a couple seconds long and what it seems to have been filmed from the seats under the frontstage. https://youtu.be/rPOV-xedaa4
Although, I’m not sure if that was his actual voice or the pre-recorded vocals, he sounded waaay too perfect to believe what I was hearing, lol.
It’s either “Gladiator” or “You’re staying in the semis, aligator” for Poland this time, not many other mwmorable choices to pick from, possibly “New Home” but the rest are lackluster.
My favorite entry in the Polish Selection is Never Back Down by Felivers.
Unbiasedly speaking, Jann would be Poland’s best option. I see Jann’s entry like what Hatari was in 2019: top 5 with the televote, bottom 10 with the juries. So I expect to see Jann getting a 8th – 11th place result in May.
My subjective comment about Gladiator though: I ackowledge Gladiator as a good song overall, but the chorus is where the song falls flat for me. It’s so terribly written, I just end up cringing everytime I hear it.
Jann – “Gladiator”? For sure!
Are we going to have watchalong thread like last year?
Who? If we are smart, we will send Dudek, Natasza or Blanka.
If Ahlena’s booty can grab you, him and him and even his dad, I’m assuming it can grab a win as well, especially if the “dad” she talked about is a producer in the show
Serafina your comments are simply incredible.
Now that i think about it. Imagine how many fathers live in Europe. You might be onto something.
I mean, let’s look at what we have and think of the best case scenario for each one (amazing staging, great vocals, viewers and juries vibe with it, etc.): Jann – “Gladiator” – top5 Alicja – “New Home” – top10 Dominik Dudek – “Be Good” – top10 BLANKA – “Solo” – 6.10%, top 15 Ahlena – “Booty” – 20-25, as a joke but still Felivers – “Never Back Down” – top10 KUBA – “You Do Me” – 20-25 NATASZA – “Lift U Up” – 20-25 Maja Hy?y – “Never Hide” – 20-25 Yan Majewski – “Champion” – NQ, no matter… Read more »
See I knew Jann would win this vote, so I trolled and voted Ahlena!
In other news, water is a liquid.
am I the only one who thinks Blanka’s song could be a possible televoting winner in may? lol
Yes.
Yes you are the only one
Generic AF
Yes xd I mean, it’s catchy radio song, but we’ve already tried this with Groomie and it ended up with nq xd Radio songs are called radio songs for a reason. You need something else for great live performance
I’ve seen some reaction channels like Noosh and Shane quite enjoy the song and her style. I think she’s definitely got something. In a weaker selection, she’d easily win.
It would be a great choice for Poland and a real contender. I hope he can deliver on stage.
