First of all, amazing show! I think this was the best pre-party ever! I watched the whole stream and thanks to Eurovision-Spain, for uploading every act, and of course Wiwi which uploaded many of them as well! Having Ruslana, Konstrakta, Kaliopi and many others was amazing as well, and I have to mention Kaliopi, absolutely the best performance of the night with Crno i Belo, that woman is almost 60 and sings with such magnitude, level, everything, for 40 years, it a privilege to listen! Out of people which we didn’t hear live so far, Netherlands were absolutely the worst,… Read more »

True, but that’s nothing new 🙂 Didn’t mention Moldova as well, they had technical issues, but were fine as well. Serbia was also fine.

I agree with basically everything until you get to the last paragraph, as three of the songs you feel nothing for I adore. Different strokes, I suppose. Netherlands is that song that I feel nothing for, and I’d be fine with a substandard performance clearing the way for the reliably Mimicat or Sudden Lights to qualify.

Sure, we are all different 🙂 I just feel those types of songs need something upbeat and amazing interpretation, like Alika. The song itself is meh, but she is one the best ES vocals in the last 10 years. If I am in a bar, drinking beer with my friends and see Mimicat performing, I would probably enjoy. But that’s all, it is at least for me, mid, nothing spectacular, I will forget it in an hour. Nothing against any of the artists, I respect their talent and effort.

Well said and I agree that this was by far the best pre-party so far. Austria and Armenia were the best for me, among the songs performed live for the first time. Australia and France were also good and Netherlands was the only huge disappointment. The lack of chemistry and charisma means that there’s no much left to enjoy from the song unfortunately. Among the favourites, I can’t say I particularly enjoyed any of them – Loreen, Alessandra, and Käärijä all seemed to be there just to enjoy the party. I feel that UK is heading to a car crash… Read more »

Seems Agoney must have said no, then. A shame. I’m not sure his Eurovision experience this time round was a positive one, with some of the flak his entry got.

I think he’s a particularly gifted singer, so I hope he changes his mind that he does not intend to retry for Eurovision.

Agoney has an ego like ur House an part of the neighbour’s… He didnt win the Benidorm Fest, he hates Eurovision right now. If he is not as successful as he thinks he deserves to b, he Will be on Benidorm Fest again.

If this means he has another run at it then I’m happy. He has a voice that could haunt a house.

Blanca Paloma seems very genuine and happy to perform, where as Noa Kirel doesn’t care about performing for fans at all. I guess she is the type of artist who we’ll never see performing ever at Eurovision related events, maybe that 900k budget wasn’t enough to buy that attitude away.

Has her song been remixed? The Israel performance seem to have added more bass.
