The song is fine. But when countries vote for their top ten like the OGAE does, even after 17 Dan club reveals she only has one point. That’s not good.

Why is there so much nagativeness in these comments. First of all there are no more than 10mln Armenians in this world and many in heavy problems, which you even are not aware of. Do you think everyone is sitting here to see how to react to each poll? There are hundreds of millions of Loreen fans, who are also Eurovision fans, true for Armenia as well. Whereas Brunette became famouse in Armenia only this September with a song which even had no music video. Even in Armenia still not many know her yet. The trend to minimaze her success… Read more »

She is also the most-watched entry on the ESC youtube channel. Why is everyone coming up with conspiracy theories only to explain something they don’t agree with? Just because gays from certain online circles are hyping Scandinavia doesn’t mean it is what an average music listener would prefer.

Why tha dans off Loreen are so aggressive? I mean you like her ok, but it’s not mean that all people in the world should love her. And of course Brunette is very lovely and beautiful than Loreen.
For example me and my friends we voted for Brunette and France.

This poll seems to be dominated by Armenians because they are so hyped. Just like Stefania was leading the polls of Eurovisionworld. And Armenia is one of the leading countries in Eurovisionworld who’s voting for themselves

Ooh, interesting results, I’m actually pleasantly surprised. Although, I’d like to see Iru, Blanca, Alika and Mimicat higher but ok.

No matter how much I like Brunette’s song, I would give the first place to Loreen here. Brunette, Blanca, Iru, Monika and Alika also have songs I like.

I don’t know why the Eurovision production is so against her, they really don’t want her to qualify for the final. They brought her the worst position! Maybe it’s because their concept is similar to Sweden’s this year so they don’t want her to threaten Loreen.

I think they did that because they don’t want to have the 2nd spot as the „Death Spot“ anymore. So they picked a song with a really high qualification chance, even from that spot.

Totally agree. #2 is considered to be the death slot only because since 2013 have been putting weaker songs in #2. Between 2008 and 2012, where the song order was decided by lot, 70% of the songs who performed second in the semi finals qualified to the final (also, 70% would have qualified with 100% televote). Performing 2nd is no worst than performing 1st or 3rd, and it’s a good thing if the producers decided to stop perpetuating this silly superstition. Armenia is performing between two songs who are much weaker IMO and should qualify easily unless they mess up… Read more »

I do not think it is that relevant. For me, Armenia is a very safe qualifier. The position, esp. in the lame SF2 where only televoting counts, does not really matter. Brunette in SF2 is just like Loreen performing 11th in SF1: even it is a death spot, they can easily pull through.

What matters more, for both of them, I believe, is their drawn and given position in GF, as that will impact more on their final result.

What I am curious more is about their staging.
Some say Reliey (Denmark) gets to perform first because they are planning some very heavy staging. Armenia performs second; does that indicate their staging will not be that, say, complicated? (Even tho it may not be that good, I am really thinking about those bells in her MV.)

Iwas surprised to hear that tooand I went back to look at the running order since 2016. There does seem to be a tendency for either expected non qualifiers or borderline songs to be put in spot 11, so ig thats the “death spot” of the second half, or at least one of them.

I remember there were discussions when the performing orders were released.
Some on youtube have done the count and calculated the qualification rate based on 100% televoting since 2008 (when we started to have 2 SFs). The 11th is the lowest (26.7%), even lower than the 2nd (30%). Certainly, this is not statistically prominent, but it may indicate some disadvantages of this spot or around. This year, we have Loreen and Iru, two safe qualifiers.

It should be stated that since 2013 the producers have been consistantly placing weaker songs in slot #2, which has more of an effect on the results than just running order. The songs performing 2nd did badly since 2013 because they had a low chance of qualifying even before the running order was determined. From 2008 to 2012 the lineup was determined by lot and during this time 70% of the songs performing 2nd in the semi final qualified to the final (If you only look at the telvote results, which is more relevant to the 2023 system, it’s still… Read more »

Favorite female for what? For her look? Because her song is so weak… Vocally I find Loreen the best this year, and as about the best female look, in my opinion Noa Kirel is the most beautiful among all…
