Worst most annoying song of the year. I’m sorry, neighbours. I have no idea how anyine can stomach listening to it more than once.

And yet Croatia has the best chances to make the best result out of three of these. Tbh, Samo mi se spava – I fear it won’t even qualify. If you remember from the past, televote wasn’t very fond of songs like this and it rarely awarded it with lot of points. Not sure how this will go. I have it on my list as shocking non qualifier. (Not shocking to me tbh)

“If you remember from the past, televote wasn’t very fond of songs like this…” What songs are you referring to?

Croatia is very hard to predict, but in the finals it will likely get less than 10 points from the jury (if they qualify) and it is pretty obvious that it will be the worst out of three by some margin. Even if it does resonate with televoters, which I don’t think it will. It should be enough for them to qualify, but that would be all.

he isn’t Konstrakta i know, but he has got something else very great about him, especially for this genre of his song, providing a nice contrast of softness to all the wild instrumentals, and he looks good in that outfit at the NF, very handsome, and his moves like a model on a catwalk

Croatia also has my support, for being super risky and it being such a strong bop with very extra performers

Slovenia’s has grown on me a bit more recently, and their cover of Miley Cyrus’s Flowers was also good

That’s what you were able to understand from the song, the lobster doesn’t have to do anything with the tv show “Friends”. Inform yourself before you claim something so confidently. It’s ok if you don’t like the song, but this claim about the lobster is simply not true

It was inspired by Salvador Dali’s lobster phone which for him represented the call to wake up from a dream (from surrealism to realism)

He talked about considering his fans to be lobsters because of TV show “Friends” and lobsters being friends for life. But that came later after his win and it is related to fans only. The idea behind using a lobster on the cover of the song audio is because of Salvador Dali as I wrote already. And it is kinda related to the point of the song

Three quality entries, but Slovenia is my number 1 (former Yugoslavia and overall) favourite of the year.
