It’s not long now until rehearsals start in Liverpool. This includes the 16 acts who will be competing in semi-final 2 of Eurovision 2023.
Our readers have been voting for who they want to win this particular semi-final.
After counting a total of 14,852 valid votes, we are now ready to reveal the results.
Austria’s Teya & Salena favourites to win Eurovision 2023 semi-final 2
The ghost of Edgar Allan Poe has possessed not only Teya & Salena, but many fans as well. The duo marched to victory in our poll with their catchy and witty song “Who the Hell Is Edgar?”.
The Austrian pair picked up 2,594 votes — 17.47% of the total.
Not too far behind in second place are Joker Out. The Slovenian band have quickly gained a strong following since releasing their entry “Carpe Diem”. Many of y’all are ready to seize the day along with the five of them, awarding the band 1,934 votes (13.02%).
The only other act to earn more than 1,000 votes was Armenia’s Brunette. She’s on the hunt for her “Future Lover”, but in the meantime she’s earned many “present fans”. Brunette picked up 1,697 votes (11.43%).
Taking a trip down to the other end of the results reveals which six acts our readers think won’t be making it to the grand final on Saturday 13th May: Denmark, Greece, Albania, Poland, Romania and San Marino.

It would be so funny if they would win the whole thing at the Grand Final and Sweden and Finnland would just be standing in the green room and applauding while Austrias Jaws drop down.
I am actually thinking about voting for Austria just in order to see that scene.
I know it sound a bit like wishfull thinking here…. but we also shouldn’t underestimate the possesive capabilities of Edgars ghost when those Austrians start casting their spells.
This seems like the kind of song TikTok adores. If that social network made WTHIE go viral and become a hit, I’d be glad.
In my opinion, evaluating running order factor, which means that standart person is ready to follow show from 5 th song (because are late, chit chat with friends, as well miss the first song after TV break because of toilet/chit chat): Denmark. Need good snippet for the end. Could mess a little with the song, to go through just need to collect pitty voices (Its hardest for the first, let’s help) Armenia. Need really good visual snippet for the end with high mood. Can a little get pitty voices from those, who joined too late. Romania. Dead place. Only explosive… Read more »
Really a very weak semi final….
Sure Q Austria
LIkely Q Australia Slovenia Armenia Georgia
Borderliner Q Cyprus Lithuania Estonia Belgium Greece
Borderliner NQ Albania Denmark Iceland
Likely NQ Romania San Marino
Hope for this (in a randon order)
Austria, Australia, Cyprus, Greece, Romania, Estonia, Slovenia.
Don’t care about the rest.
Unfair that we’ll definately loose some (maybe even a few) nice songs from semi 1 to this((
Nah not the duo with the rip off music video from a Macdonald’s commercial. Neither Slovenia which style wise is not much different than Ireland’s. Both songs (Austria and Slovenia) are way over-rated. Armenia yes.
Comparing Irish song to Slovenian is a clear indication that you have no idea about music.
So, your comment is quite irrelevant.
Or maybe you are the one with no idea of music. How about that!
Armenia no

I have a good feeling about Austria and Slovenia. I bet the Liverpool arena audience will bring the house down, dancing to Teya and Salena’s entry.
Good, it means the Lithuanian Pagan incantations are working. >: )
Did you confuse it with Latvia?
I want to laugh and cry at the same time.
1. Slovenia
2. Austria
3. Australia
4. Estonia
5. Lithuania
6. Georgia
7. Iceland
8. Belgium
9. Albania
10. Cyprus
my qualifying list
While the song quality is not as good as semi 1, I think this is more open and trickier to predict.
Right now I predict Austria, Slovenia, Australia, Greece, Cyprus, Denmark, Georgia, Armenia, Lithuania and Belgium to qualify.
I wouldn’t rule out Estonia, Albania or Iceland sneaking in though
I feel Romania, San Marino and Poland don’t stand a chance
I like only Austria, Armenia, Slovenia and Greece. Last year there were better songs imo
What I want: (random order)
1. Austria
2. Armenia
3. Australia.
4. Slovenia
5. Georgia
6. Cyprus
7. Greece
8. Estonia
9. Iceland
10. Denmark ig
What I predict:
1. Austria
2. Australia
3. Armenia
4. Belgium
5. Lithuania
6. Slovenia
7. Georgia
8. Greece
9. Cyprus
10. Estonia

#TeamBlanka <3 <3 <3
haters gonna hate and our Bejba is slaying
shame on those vile Jann fans getting Egurolla fired btw 🙁
bruh the song is ok, but the performance live is a disaster
Sorry, but I´m not a fanboy of Jann. Nevertheless Solo is a big crap, a instagram girl who wants to be a popstar without having a voice. Forget it !
She can’t dance and doesn’t have any charisma either.
37 place 0.0/10
Exactly !
That doesn´t even qualify as a satirical act.
