The last national final to get underway this year is Serbia’s Pesma za Evroviziju 24. There are 28 acts in contention, but by the end of this week one of them will have emerged victorious and secured a ticket to Eurovision 2024.

We previously set up a poll to gauge the thoughts of our readers on who they wanted to lift the trophy.

After recording a grand total of 2,092 votes, we now know who has emerged as your favourites.

Teya Dora is a favourite to win Pesma za Evroviziju 24

As soon as the line-up for PzE 24 was revealed, Teya Dora stood out as one to watch. The star has become a known name in the Serbian music industry over recent years, racking up millions of streams and video views.

Her contest entry “Ramonda” hasn’t disappointed, with many falling in love with the ballad.

Teya rose to the top of our poll and secured 442 votes, which is 21.13% of the total.

The silver medal goes to a returning champion. Konstrakta already knows what it’s like to win this competition and head to Eurovision after earning the Pesma za Evroviziju trophy in 2022.

She’s now back with the captivating track “Novo, bolje”, and many of our readers are backing her to once again come out in pole position.

Konstrakta received 360 votes — 17.21% of all those cast.

Breskvica picks up the bronze in this poll.

The audio video for her entry, “Gnezdo orlovo”, has racked up  almost five million views — five times more than her nearest competitor.

Here, though, Breskvica picked up 15.58% of the votes, 326 in total.

Fan-favourite returnees Zorja, Filip Baloš, and Zejna round out the top six. They were the only other acts to receive more than 100 votes each.

But is it a popularity contest? Because ofc Teya is getting the win then. But not when Zorja is out here serving vocals, looks, charm, uniqueness and diversity. This is MOTHER’S year periodt.

Very first reports in Israel: the Israeli corporation “Kan” reached an agreement with the EBU, the Israeli song is expected to be published in the next coming days, There were minor changes in the lyrics

Teya and Dusan are my favourites

Zbog Tebe Zivim is such a chill bop, almost a similar staccato vibe as what you have with tango music

Ramonda is so beautiful

Lena Kovacevic is a dark horse i think

Breskvica seems kinda egotistical to me? not just the political symbolism, but the fact that in her interview she threw shade onto Konstrakta and Luke, saying there’s nothing Serbian about those entries when Konstrakta literally highlights the problems of the Serbian society. She is young and too full of herself to speak about another artist like that

Really? That’s a shame. Hopefully she gets treated the way she deserves it by the juries then.

Please… vote for Zorja. The other favorites are beautiful too and I really enjoy listening to Breskvica and Teya Dora, but they dont have that spark, that momentum Zorja has especially in the last chorus.
Dragi ljudi, glasajte za Zorju. Hvala

If PZE was extremely strong last year, this edition is something else. I have a specific top 4 from the (few) songs I’ve decided to hear.

1. Konstrakta – “Novo, Bolje” (10/10)
2. Breskvica – “Gnezdo Orlovo” (10/10)
3. Teya Dora – “Ramonda” (9.5/10)
4. Zorja – “Lik U Ogledalu” (9/10)

These are my clear favorites.

I’ll decide once I’ve seen the live performances, there’s no song which I feel is a must send. But it might be smart of Serbia to go with a ballad given the way the field of songs in Malmö has developed. Of course, it’d also be interesting to see how the televote battle turns out if Serbia adds another song to the “fun” category.

Breskvica’s song is so nationalistic. It has strong symbolism about Kosovo. I really don’t like it, I hope it doesn’t win.

Ramonda is so unique and beautiful. Would be a top 10 contender for sure and top 5 at jury I think. For me it’s much better than Zorja’s song.
Breskvica wouldn’t stand out enough from this competition what we have already.

I have a feeling the extremely hyped up artists from Serbia’s pop scenes won’t do nearly as well as people think. Some of the returning artists might do badly as well. I reckon though out of all of them it will be Zorja and Filarri that makes the best impression

Zorja is their best shot at doing well this year, I’m just not sure if Teya’s song is impactful enough to stand out

Zorja is safe 10-15 place. If Serbia wants more, Konstrakta is the choice.

If we send her, the whole Europe will have a song for the toilet break. The song is just so boring, nothing happens, it’s all flat, no proper culmination, nothing.
I’d go for Zorja, but even “Lik u ogledalu” isn’t as good as “Zorja” was few years back.

How so? It’s even better I think? I wasn’t really a fan of the Zorja song in the previous edition

There is supposed to be a revamp. Teya Dora sent her song in on the last day, so it was more an early draft than a finished song. If she does some significant changes it could be a good song.
I like Zorja’s song this year more as she has more emotion and it has more of her high range. Serbia never sent a singer with a good high range before.

There is a lot of noise this year and I hope Serbia will send something calmer like Ramonda.

It doesn’t matter, since Konstrakta can top them all. Zorja is a Disney ballad, that type of song can’t break top 10 in 2024. even if it the only ballad in the contest.

How so? A ballad would stand out, especially a female one that’s well constructed and sung, presumably like this one.

Because we heard this type of song a million times on ESC and beyond and it didn’t win for ages. Zorja is great vocally but this song is way weaker than her first song that ended up fifth in PZE if I recall correctly .

I think she ended up 3rd in PZE 2022. But I like this song more as it is more emotional and has more of her upper range.
