There is no going back, Baby Lasagna is bringing the “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” to London Eurovision Party! Yes, fan favourite and this year’s Croatian entry will be coming to Here At Outernet in central London on April 7th.
Baby Lasagna, has taken Europe by storm! And Eurofans are already dreaming of a first Eurovision win for Croatia. After “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” was released in January, Mr Lasagna became the talk of Europe. Within hours of the song reveal, “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” was trending within the Top 50 on Croatian YouTube. Now, he has amassed over 3 million views of his Dora 2024 winning performance!
Who is Baby Lasagna?
Baby Lasagna — real name Marko Purišić — wasn’t originally picked for the Croatian National Final, Dora. But producers from Croatia’s national broadcaster revealed that Zsa Zsa had withdrawn and that they were replacing her with a relatively unknown, 28 year old Baby Lasagna.
Baby Lasagna took Dora by storm! Destroying the field and winning with 321 points. 239 more points than Vinko who finished in second place!
Our William Lee Adams chatted with Baby Lasanga after his addition to the Dora lineup.
“I didnt expect anything! I just thought I would be one of the contenders, if I get a hundred new fans, that’s it.”
London Eurovision Party 2024
The London Eurovision Party is the biggest annual Eurovision event in the United Kingdom.
The party will see a mojrity of artists from the year of 2024, but joining them will be some Eurovision alumnis too. This year the party celebrates its 15th edition at Here at Outernet in the UK capital.
Here at Outernet is a large concert venue right in the beating heart of London. It is known for its artistic styling and modern spaces. The London Eurovision Party will provide an excellent chance for a British audience to see their favourite acts before the contest itself.
We have many announcements coming up very shortly, so keep your eyes peeled!
Are you delighted to see Baby Lasagna at London Eurovision Party? Have you got your ticket yet? Who do you want to be confirmed next? Let us know in the comments below!
Song is too subpar to reach any popularity outside of this year, vocals are awful as well.
Bad vocals I have to say, hopping on that stage made him breathe heavily.
Italy is on its way to get their lasagna back, second in the odds now.
Looks like that lasagna is slipping away now… Switzerland #2 atm. Though, I cannot understand way. Angelina did very well in Madrid.
This song will definitely not win Eurovision because of the other crazy entries like Estonia and Finland, they will most likely steal votes from each other but will get high in Scoreboard
I feel like Italy or Ukraine will win this year, if not, then it’s possible to be Denmark, Greece, Sweden, Norway or Lithuania.
Last year Cratia was very high in the odds before the song was released, this year Croatia was very high in the odds before the song was released, and the artist was announced. How is this possible? Croatia is not Sweden…
This year Croatia was 33rd before songs for Dora were released, last year Croatia was 28th in odds before Dora (before Let 3 was selected)… what are you talking about?
i am so not gonna watch his performance in may, this fake ethnic pretentious turd of a ”song” come up with a normal english song title first lol otherwise sing in croatian
U really have some issues buddy….
most overrated junk, kids Eurovision song and even then vocals are awful.
Only junk here is your comment
I hope he will stick to the music video aesthetic for his staging in May. Also he must surely keep the music video stage outfit rather than the Dora one.
I’m here for the intriguing fight between pretentious in speech, music critics wannabe, deep analysises and legitimate predictors. It’s funny.
Anyways, looks like most of you just have crush on this lasagna. The song itself is okay. I love Croatia, my fav country, but no chance to win with this.
So, calm down sassy g-s!
He will serve weak vocals again but i am glad he’s coming to the party! He’s the big fave anyway!
So glad that BL and Slimane are the big names joining the London party. I hope they bring more favourite entries (Joost, Marina, Angelina)
Nice to see hype around different country from those always winning, though not sure how jury will react to baby lasagna – to me it is more televoting fave, also he was a bit out of tune in the nationals.. we shall see on a big day.
#1 at the Betting odds for Weeks with chances rising more and more and #1 the esc world poll which predicted accurately most winners in the last years
Hard to See this not winning
Also i watched his latest performance at an event in Croatia, he improved so much that in the beginning i thought it was playback
Really?? It was a flop again!! Terrible! Stop talking as it was good, it was bad!
Uh-uh. Especially from a country like Croatia that is famous for betting for itself in football odds. This will be the biggest flop this year, guaranteed. Eurofans need to stop believing all that rigged poll BS. Did y’all forget Destiny and Occidentali’s Karma?
Croatia is always low in the betting odds in Football, even the years they come top 3 in the world cup, so it is not True
Do you have anything to back up your claims that Croatia’s public money is used for betting on Croatian entry?
My guess is you don’t and your pathetic sad a** is just spreading lies.
You need to get laid. Like, now.
Winner or not, it is amazing to see a small country getting a bit of hype.
I think it’s between the Netherlands and Croatia. At least with televoting.
Anyway, Croatia used to deliever us Great songs in mid-late 1990’s. I wish they could renew their success, but with a better song.
it only gets hype because he has good looks lmao
He seems like a nice and genuine guy, but his song is garbage, zero value… if this is the way esc is going (back) we can expect next year singing puppets again, and farting song why not… actually, why singing… let’s do some cartwheels on some techno beats
and ta-da..
Well if you are an example of a “fan” then please, can we have more songs like this. And hopefully you will never ever watch Eurovision again. You can create a group with other toxic fans here that can not accept others and have zero respect for others that do not agree with you
You me, same as you are?
Mean
I did not disrespect anyone by calling their work garbage!!!
Basically, I never mentioned any fans, nor him in any negative context in my comment, only the song (yes. It think it garbage w/ zero value only the cheap thrill) itself but you were triggered and found it’s OK to insult me directly and you still think you’re so right?
So calling someone work garbage is not insulting that person and, indirectly fans of that song and is not negative. In which universe? Reason you are toxic is your need to come here and write things like that. If you do not like it, you can either say it in civilised way or move along..
You’re absolutely wrong, my comment abou the song is only about the song… on the the other hand, the reason you’re taking this so personally is beyond my power to pamper and care about. Tough it up, and accept other opinions even if they souds shocking to you! And don’t act like a moderator because you’re not! In you’re words, if you don’t like the comment give it a minus and move along, do not insult the author of it!
Lesson learned… so to correct myself… your comment and your opinion is garbage and has zero value. There, not insulting you, just your comment and opinion
There you go, it wasn’t that hard, isn’t?
In the words of Sia, I love cheap thrills!
Finally some common sense in this comment section.
Overrated garbage I might add, only liked by Croatians who push it forward.
I’m just really curious as to why it personally affects some people so much as to actively root for an artist to fail for your own personal gratification.
What do you mean exactly? On example of Baby Lasagna since this is article about him..m
People in the comments actively wishing for him to fail just because.
Thanks for clarifying. Yes… I don’t get it either.
One of my Top 5
Odds reflect what fans think. They have much power on that department. But fan-favourites have flopped and dropped once rehearsal starts in the past. And others emerge..
But it’s a sign that an entry probobly ends up in top 3-5. It all depends on the juries and if they support it. The live performance have flaws. The performance itself is not as impactful as Finland last year. And Baby not as charismatic as Käärijä. Personally I have felt that this is a substitute for Käärijä. The comparison is one of the things that can bring this entry down. Especially with juries. You know.. “Done and seen before..”
Like Austria 2018 and Sweden 2019? Lol
Exactly – early favourites often fall back and lose momentum as the contest gets closer. The hype certainly seems to have cooled a but since those lacklustre Dora performances – there seems to be less talk of him winning and more of him finishing around 3rd.
Things may change again and once rehearsals start, he might look like a winner. As it stands, it’s not a winner yet.
Wow, so glad the winner of this eurovision is comming to London as well! Cant wait to see his performance… 🙂
Meowwwwwww
The song is nice, the title is childish. I enjoy it but at the same time can’t help thinking it sounds like a highschool graduation party song.
I see, but its not really fair to feel like that about it. If you didn’t know it was a made up title, it could just as easily have been words in Croatian with a non-childish meaning (and its technically official meaning by Baby Lasagna is that its a made up name for the dance they do in the music video).
Only this ain’t no party anthem and has actual substance. People seem to recognize that.
Plus that guy can’t sing live, vocally very bad.
Roko come back!
Roko definitely was one of the worst thing that happened to Eurovision in the 2010’s. Same goes for Jacques Houdek.
Yeah, please don’t and stay away in the USA or wherever you are.
Truly one of the most horrifically embarrassing things evee to (dis)grace the ESC stage. Just horrible.
Hoef geen lasagna, no, ik weet niet eens echt wat dat is
I just love the idea that in your head your comment is probably funny… and just there
Yeah, that comment is a bit sad, really. Let the Croatians have their moment, they really want this. Probably betting like crazy on it as well, because the odds are getting lower and lower.
You know that, actually, odds would not be going down if majority of bets would come from Croatia. Also, in past week or so, most best are made on Netherlands…
Won’t be a lot of Dutch bets though, if that’s what you’re trying to say. Betting on Eurovision is not possible in the Netherlands.
What I don’t understand is why Croatia was so high in the odds even before the selection of the song (Is he a very famous artist in his region? And was he announced) early? And why the song has so little you tube views in comparison with some other participants. Is it only because Croatia is a small country? Or is it less popular than it seems I’m a bit clueless, help me out.
Song was released in early January (lyrics video) and was instant hit (hence improvement of odds) He is not famous at all, performance in national final was his first performance as solo artist. Before he was a guitar player in a Croatian band as well as quite sucesfull songwriter (got an award for top album in Germany). As for YouTube views, there are actually few videos, some on ESC channle, some on national final channel and his own, so total views is over 9 million views.
Thank you, most people will only see the official vid. and when they like it visit his other vids as well. If other participants also have more than one vid online it’s fair enough to compare the official one, I’m going to check it out thanks.
Let me correct you, hit in CROATIA. It’s only hyped in Croatia. Croatians keep voting for him in the polls and betting in the odds. Very few people outside of that bubble actually enjoy it.
Let me correct you. This song was is viral in multiple countries on Spotify (Austria, Netherlands, Finland, Sweden etc). Poll on Eurovisionworld has now been changed (thanks to Joost) not possible to vote for your country anymore… and who is the first? Croatia. So, I get it that you don’t like the song, but please check facts first
Can’t wait to see his performance!

???,)?
Baby Lasagna wonderful song and performance.
HAHAHAAHAHAHHAHA
After seeing this in Malmö I have to say it wasn’t good at all, vocally even worse than in London.
Sizzling song
lol lol lol
worst croatian song of all time, also outside eurovision lmao, what a pathetic joke act
I’m still not quite sure what to feel about that one. I mean I enjoy the song without really understanding why it is so much loved by the eurovision community. I could see it in the top 10 but I’m not sure it could even be in the top 5. Baby Lasagna seems to be a nice artist but at the same time his live performance during Dora wasn’t totally on point and if he doesn’t improve I’m scared that juries will ruin his chance of a really good result. On the other hand, even though I think it would… Read more »
It’s not loved for the song itself, but because community wants “justice” for Cha Cha Cha, so they hype this song, Cha Cha Cha from Croatia.
Only way Croatia could win is, as you said, if EBU rigged that because of strategic move.
What you bet on? Someone trying to save their money lol
I wasn’t talking about EBU rigging the contest. Maybe I shouldn’t have used the word “strategic” 😐
Going away when you are not winning is not very sportive 😉
Didn’t say it was but knowing that the majority of Balkan countries are already struggling financially, if you add to that the fact that they’re getting poor results, I can completely understand the loss of interest in the competition. And I’d like Eurovision to once again be a celebration for all Europeans, not just those with money who score well. So if making a country that’s generally in difficulties win can encourage others in the same situation to come back, then I’ll take it.
Get that slop out of here.
Yeahhhhh
Sending a warm hug to all haters. Remember there are better days ahead!
Yes, better days will come when Croatia gets out of top 5 😉
For you better days will come when you find a way to deal with all your frustrations in a more healthy way. Hope it will come soon
I do hope you are checking bookmaker’s odds on a daily basis, while drinking morning coffee, %21 and continuously going down 😉
Can Croatia stop betting for itself on odds… it’s so embarrassing. Using Malta’s tactics won’t help you win. This song is destined to flop
I put 100 pounds one month ago, when i heard the song for the first time. Big payout incoming hahaha
Buddy you’ll lose that money so fast… withdraw while you can
HAHAHAHAHAHAHH money lost
What’s up with all these lies?
do you actually REALLY think that we have that kind of money lmao
Croatia was third in the odds even before Lasagna won, remember?
Few facts… bookies know where bet is coming from. If it would be all from Croatia, odds would not improve much. For many days most bets are on Netherlands, but its not moving much… bookies are not stupid, they are in it to make money. Also, check poll on eruovisionworld, which now does not allowed to vote for own country and Croatia is still on top
Yes, similar situation with Malta, although in Malta at least their broadcaster bet, while in this case only Croatians do that without any background. Sad.
You really can not stand facts 😉
gotta disappoint u, online betting is illegal in croatia so we cant bet even if we want to. But nice try though, try another one
A lot of illegal things still happen, time will tell… I think a ballade might win, maybe Switzerland ? I want a surprise winner! Eurovision is getting too predictable
That would mean that masses of people would need to use VPN to bet on Croatia. We are not that big of a country and eurovision is not that big of a thing here as it is in Sweden. But yeah, Switzerland if they dont mess up staging will win. Even though I wouldnt mind Italy or France winning.
Predictable (NOT). I would never have thought Loreen to win last year when Finland’s entry seemed obvious … to win !!!
It is? Seriously asking as I know nothing about betting and gambling. I thought it was widely available, judging by all the ads and s*** we’re bombarded with everywhete and all the time.
It depends on what country your in. In the Netherlands online gambling is allowed to a certain level, but we can’t vote on our own Eurovision song, that’s forbidden, I know the UK has bookmakers offices foe example and différent rules.
Yeah, I get that about voting on ESC, but my comment was directed at robert saying online betting was illegal in Croatia. I certainly wasn’t (am not!) under that impression.
Literally not true lmao. Croatians are prevalent sports betters
Well, guess what?! I tried accessing the William Hill site, and it IS blocked by the Tax Administration.
Croatian fans harassed several people in Malmö, and were pushy towards anyone not liking their entry. Disgustingly homophobic people too.
Bit of Rammstein, bit of Cha Cha Cha and bad vocals. All ingredients for being a fan favourite like Kaarija was last year, except he will be out of top 5 in the juries, mark my words.
Relax, its not that serious lol
Haha how dare you! Eurovision is LIFE!!
Hahahaahhaha
Johnny, Andrew…thanx for keeping it light on these boards.
There’s a fair amount of usual suspects trying to ruin it for everybody.
Is it? I think it’s a pretty cynical, hateful follow- the- stream community.
To put things into perspective… Out of four international Dora juries, two of them gave him 12 pts, one 10 pts…and Italy gave him s***. Rather transpatent if you ask me lol.
My favourite hater is back. How are you dear? Btw, did you see poll on Eurovisionworld? Croatia is 1st but Croatians can not vote… OMG, seems your secret forum theory is not correct after all…
BABY, U’RE A STAR! * 🙂
hahahaha yes! FLOP star ahahahah
Don’t hate yourself, bit don’t love yourself too much, mummy said you’re a special boy, bit you’re really not!
I have crush on Baby, hahahah. He is so cute
Yayy me too!
Who doesn’t 😀
Every normal person.
If that is a case, you must have a huge crash;)
A dream for gays huh.. Does that have anything to do with the song?
So… are we rating the song or his face? Literally 90% of comments about Croatia are either “meow” or “he’s hot”, “he’s so cute”. Truly winner material lol, can’t wait for that bubble to burst
He fat shamed anyone who had more weight than he did, behaviour on social media from his has been nothing but disgusting.
I think it’s a catchy song. You immediately recognise the Rammstein influence, but I miss some personal identity. For me it would have been a lot stronger in his own language. It leaves me a bit in the dark who Baby Lasagna is. Besides this he needs to improve his live vocals.
Yes, singing in English will hurt him badly, because there are a lot more uniqueness that songs from countries singing in their own national language have.
Well; it seems that English does bring advantage (sadly). Look at Loreen, Duncan, Netta, Mans etc… Croatia is actually top 5 historically in sending songs in native language.
It’s my personal opinion, I would have loved to hear it in his native language, and I think it suits the story of the song better. English is a saver choice and I respect that, but for me something authentic is missing now. But all the best to him.
Just out of curiosity, Mimi, do you apply the same standard for all 37 performers or just picking on a favourite act to win the contest? It’s an entertainment show with 3 minute songs for crying out loud!?
Everyone will come for him and then they will immediately leave after he’s gone. That’s the extent of the hype regarding his song. 20% in the odds and Eurovision world poll when you consider only non-Croatians were allowed to vote in the poll. I really dont see why people are saying it wont win.
Eurofans have been wrong many many times. Previous polls got the winners right just because they were soooo obvious… like we knew that Duncan, Kalush, Maneskin, Loreen would win, didn’t need a dumb poll for that.
