For the first time since 1993, all three Benelux nations are competing at Eurovision. Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg are all aiming to bring the Eurovision 2024 trophy back to the western European region.

Of course it’s Luxembourg who are finally back with their neighbours. The five-time winners have taken a three-decade-long break from the contest. For their grand return, the nation selected TALI and the song “Fighter” through the selection show Luxembourg Song Contest.

In Belgium, it was the turn of Walloon broadcaster RTBF to select an act for Eurovision. They returned to an internal selection this year, choosing Mustii to wave the flag. He’ll be singing “Before the Party’s Over” in Malmö, backed by a choir of pre-recorded vocals from his fans.

The Netherlands are the most recent Benelux nation to secure a Eurovision victory. Joost Klein is hoping to keep it that way by adding another win to the country’s tally. His entry “Europapa” has already racked up millions of streams and views — will he be able to turn them into points come May?

Benelux nations at Eurovision 2024

Belgium: Mustii – “Before the Party’s Over”

Netherlands: Joost Klein – “Europapa”

Luxembourg: TALI – “Fighter”

Poll: Which Benelux nation has the best entry at Eurovision 2024?

Time to make a decision. Remember: You’ll only be able to vote once, so choose wisely!

Who did you vote for? Are you happy to see all three Benelux nations competing together again at Eurovision 2024? Let us know in the comments below.

I think Tali works the camera better than the other two combined. Though I may change my mind once I’ve seen Klein do a live performance of his track without the lead vocal effects.

I’m kinda sad for Luxembourg. I think the song is pretty ok, but I’m not sure if it’s enough for this year. It’s a pretty good year imo and I worry they will be discouraged by the result.
Hoping for a qualification!

Of these, probably Belgium. I had Luxembourg high to begin with but the song wore off very quickly. I never found myself in the fandome of the Dutch entry as I find it silly…the emotional finish to the music video is not enough to make up for the actual song itself. Belgium has an amazing last minute, but I always tend to ask «what song is this again?» when it comes on, in other words the start of the song is extremely dull…it doesn’t grab your attention before 2 minutes into it….but then it becomes great at least !

Belgium is great, but it runs out of steam at the end by repeating the same line over and over again. Luxembourg is okay-ish, but it has no spice. Just feels like 3 minutes of nothing. Krick would’ve been a much better choice, there would at least be a solid jury score there. Don’t even get me started on Netherlands. I’ve seen it, I’ve seen others explaining it and it’s still annoying and grating to my ears. You know, we don’t have to catch all the details of a song to like it or not. Sometimes it just doesn’t match. Some people love, some don’t. I personnally don’t but I won’t forbid others to love it, the same way I don’t want people to tell me I’m wrong.
The message of the song is beautiful, it’s the way it’s done that I don’t like. My aim here is not to be disrespectful, but for me this kind of song is an ode to cheesiness.

It’s certainly a good year for the BENELUX countries in ESC! Europapa is the banger of the year (along with Greece).

The Netherlands is the best among the 3.

Belgium has a nice song, but I am not sure about the live performance yet.

Tali is also charismatic, and I have loved the song and performance since the Luxembourgish national final. I feel she will qualify for the final.

Good luck BENELUX!

Indeed, it has a very gradual build-up. Generally speaking, and from an artistic point of view, this is interesting.

Even though I agree on the fact that it is stupid that we can’t discuss about or even like a song because of the country it represents, it’s not really better to give all your votes to it just because others decided to boycott. If you have favorites just vote for them and that’s all. You seem like the most mentally unstable Hasbara bot on this site, and that’s saying a lot. Sorry that no-one cared about the yawnfest cringe propaganda song after the initial couple of days.

The last time I checked, not liking a bland propaganda song promoting a country committing g e no cide is not a sign of a mental breakdown. Defending them to the hilt on the other hand seems pretty deranged.

I think the Wiwi team made a good decision with reviewing the israeli entry anonymous.
If you didnt chose reviewing, all big nasty comments would have been flying in.
If the Wiwi members with their names published ranked a low score, all hell would have been released.

Its selfcensoring for that matter.
Which is understandable, but this is also very sad indeed happeing on the platform of ESC24.

Lets hope and pray Peace and Sanity prevail in the end and next year we have some less discours amongst eachother.

Also and moreso the other way around. Thats why many YouTubers are afraid to publish a reaction video , for fear of the pro-pal. boycotter mob.

Some actually ban Israel, but others say they decided not to make a reaction video for fear of the boycotters.
Some later did publish a reaction video and even apologized.

But the more mature esc youtubers reacted to all songs to begin with.

Lastly Belgium, the singular most overhyped song of this years contest. All of the online stans are getting their panties in a… Read more »

Joost is a powerhouse. I’ve been listening a lot to his back catalogue and watching his live performances – check out the Lowlands video from last year. He reminds me of the acts/bands that I fell in love with in my youth – he feels like a once in a generation artist for Eurovision, that’s how excited I am about him.

“Its now or never”

Very clever and underlying the quality of Europapa.
