At the end of the day, a good song and experienced singers are what truly matter. Ukraine has both. Staging may only enhance their performance. Like William and Debon, I also believe it has the potential to win the entire contest. I will definitely vote for them. Good luck!

I think some of the costume designers need to be taken out and shot. Alyona is big – no shame in that, though such bigness might be a health hazard. But to make her even look bigger and shapeless is a crime.

This is gonna do very well I fear. Too bad some countries with better songs can’t be bothered to play the game like Ukraine. They make it way too easy for others. Sweden and Ukraine realise you win at Eurovision, not before.

Its Stefania and 1944 merged together. I just think it’s a cheap way to try and win

Yeah. And they play on the fact they are at war. Looks like bombs are falling on the screens walking up that cliff.. I simply can’t understand how they are allowed to do that.

Personally, I too find these missiles in the sky in very bad taste.

This song is nothing alike Stefania or 1944. What are you on about?

So much compassion in the comments for Ukraine. You people for sure very worried about human suffering and tragedies.
Im sure you would root for them like crazy if they were at war with Israel, but unfortunately for them it’s not the case so nobody counts their losses.

Anna 2 years ago Ukraine won by a sympathy vote. Russia was banned from ESC over its invasion of Ukraine, So what are you on about? As to Israel – I think for EBU it’s untouchable.

Thank you, Anna.

Personally at first I thought that the stage and the flashes in the sky are a bit too dark and red. I hoped for something more light. But now I am happy with the staging.

But it seems like we can not sing anymore about our hope.
No one cares about our thousands of losses.
But they all have sympathy for g.za. Ukraine didn’t cruel attack like Ham.s.

And then they say that we are begging for votes?
We only want to express our song.

In my opinion an Alpine edition is what this contest is badly needing, but if Ukraine were to win, I would be just as happy. This song is definitely one of the best this year in a very poor year.

Wow you must have some high standards, cause I don’t remember such a strong year in recent memory

I don’t think I have “some high standards”. Sometimes songs click with me, sometimes they don’t. I don’t think I have favourite genres either. I can listen to almost every genre. The important thing is that the song clicks with me. This year more songs fall into the category (I don’t like/I don’t dislike) than into the category (I like). That’s all! I’m sorry if I disappoint you.
