Are you #TeamDuaLipa, #TeamTroyeSivan or #TeamKaarija? Well regardless of which pop star you’re into, your time is now.

The OGAE Song Contest is an annual event organised by OGAE — the Organisation Générale des Amateurs de l’Eurovision, or General Organisation of Eurovision Fans — in which the members of OGAE compete with an original song released in their countries. The song has to have been released in the previous year and be mostly sung in one of the country’s national languages.

This year OGAE UK is hosting the contest following their 2023 win with “As It Was” by Harry Styles. The United Kingdom has had the most victories so far. Seven of its eight wins have come in the last 13 years.

Voting is open to members of the OGAE fan clubs.

The first-ever OGAE Song Contest took place in 1986 and has been an annual event ever since. Previous winners include Laura Pausini, Helena Paparizou, Coldplay, Adele, Nina Zilli, Indila and Dami Im.

Bulgaria getting voted once again by user named “Stan”, it was 2nd to last with 5 votes, now in under 10 minutes it jumped to 80 votes and at 10th overall, but watch and see how suddenly Bulgaria will gain yet again more votes once it slips onto those last spots.

This mass spam voting never helped, as it showed embarrassing results at ESC. I’m glad that country is gone.

Very proud to see “La symphonie des éclairs” representing France here. Translatable as “The symphony of lightnings“, this precious song conquered France’s charts for the whole past year. Its autor, Zaho de Sagazan is an emerging artist full of poetry and art. She’s someone to watch for future editions of the Eurovision Song Contest.

I see that Croatians are doing it again, they’re like bots, unbelievable. ROW, UK and Greece are the best.

If I rember correctly you claimed that only bots voted for Croatia, then you claimed that people aro voting for him just cause he is cute, now Croatians are like bots…. Every day new theory… but the fact that people might actually like him and his music did not cross your mind?

Such a weird contest imo and I will say that every year… you make compete big names like Dua Lipa, Sabrina Carpenter, Harry Styles, Kylie Minogue(last year) against others who have not that world fame, How Mimicat could win against Dua Lipa, how Tamara Todevska could win against Sabrina Carpenter….it doesn’t make sense to me.
