Estonia’s Eesti Laul has produced three Eurovision finalists in a row, including 5miinust and Puuluup. You’ll recall that they took their mouthful of a song — “(Nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi” — to 20th in the final.

Producers from the Estonian broadcaster ERR have now revealed 15 of the 16 acts who will try to follow in their footsteps by winning the final of Eesti Laul 2025. The show will take place on February 15 at the Unibet Arena.

The following 15 acts have been selected by a jury consisting of 34 musical professionals. The 16th act will be chosen by the public in an online vote conducted by Radio 2 in January.

You’ll have to wait until December 6 to hear the songs below. They’ll be heard for the first time on a show called Start.

So glad ELYSA is back! Bad Philosophy was robbed! Glad to see Mininal Wind again too! The comments are right when they say Tommy Cash has the biggest chance! If it’s true the saner writers of Cha Cha Cha are there we could have a televote landslide winner on our hands! Very excited!

Wonder how many songs we’ll get this year with “espresso” or other coffee types in the title

I like Tommy and I’m excited to hear the song. But I wouldn’t be so sure his victory is certain. Tommy isn’t the kind of regular artist in Estonia, he is more out of the picture when it comes to being on local radio or TV and so on. His music is not liked by all. It’s more like a niche thing in a small Estonia. The same thing happened to Kerli – her internation fans were sure she would win, but Estonians didn’t select her. So, it really comes down to the SONG itself. International fame is not enough… Read more »

This is not Eesti Laul, it’s “everybody versus Tommy Cash”.

Isn’t Tommy Cash like a massive bootlicker of ruzzia? Or was at least. Don’t know how this will bode with the ESC fandom.

Liking Russia and liking Putin are two completely different things.

This. Some people can’t divide state from people. They always say they can, but the reality looks different.

I hope for a different kind of songs this year, no baby lasagna, cha cha cha or Europapa, more variety to keep Eurovision interesting.

Probably not, we don’t need another Kaariia or Joost or Baby Lasagna for a year or two. Be original;-)

Tommy Cash was famous way before both of those guys. And his music genre is still different, its more niche and humour coded.I think its time for people to be less obsessed with Käärija as if he was some kind of Eurovision prophecy cause he didnt invent dance party music. There is a fun entry every year and 2025 is going to be Tommy Cash probably.

The song hasn’t even released yet and we already know that there’s no way Tommy Cash does not win Eesti Laul.
