The first heat of Lithuania’s Eurovizija.LT 2024 was just filmed in the LRT studios. The recording of the broadcast has revealed the new changes we’re going to see on the TV screens around Lithuania on Saturday night. While Eurovizija.LT will maintain the same powerhouse female lead duo Gabriele Martirosian and Nombeko Auguste. However, the former greenroom host, TikToker – xKHEN, who later went onto become one of Silvester Belt’s dancers in Malmö, is not returning to reprise his role. Instead, we will be introduced to a new face – LRT presenter Rimvydas Cerniauskas. The newly formed trio of presenters will speak to the acts in-between performances and will ask jury their opinion about the songs.
The first Eurovizija.LT 2025 will feature a returning jury, which will be able to provide their commentary in-between performances. Heat One will have LRT Eurovision commentator Ramunas Zilnys, singer and songwriters Stanislavas Stavickis-Stano & Ieva Narkute, producer Leon Somov, radio presenter Une Liandzbergyte.
After having the first show recorded now we know the first nine acts that will appear in the televised broadcast on Saturday 11 January. The first show will feature a number of newcomers and singers aiming to surprise the Lithuanian audience and capture everyone’s attention just as Silvester Belt has done last year. Probably the biggest name out of the bunch is the most recent The Voice Lithuania winner Anyanya who will be singing „Running Out of Time“. Juste Baradulinaite has previously taken part in the fifth series of Lithuanian X Factor, where she placed third in the final. Aistay and Viktoria Faith are both returning to the Lithuanian national pre-selection after previously taking part. Mantas Ben is returning to Lithuanian Eurovision pre-selection stage, but this time as a lead singer, as he has previously performed as a backing singer for Kotryna Juodzeviciute back in 2017 and 2018, where they have placed third and fifth in thee finals respectively.

Who’s entry are you excited to hear this Saturday? Are you more excited to hear Eurovizija.LT songs in Lithuanian or English? Do you think any of the previous TV talent show laureates will make it to the live final in Kaunas Žalgirio Arena?
The first national final to start airing their first heat/semi final in 2025 and nobody is talking about it, so I am going to stump for Lithuania. Six of the nine entries are already out–only You’re Not Alone, Running Out of Time and Scary Beautiful are not available yet–and it’s actually a lot better than what I was fearing expecting. True there are a few stinkers, but there is some genuinely good stuff here. Here is a ranking of the six available songs by eurovisionworld.com scores out of 5 as of now (likely rise or fall after tomorrow): Tai kur… Read more »
I agree about Tai Kur Namai, it’s indeed very powerful and impactful. And the message behind it is beautiful (finding your place in life and discovering happiness in loneliness). I really hope it goes through, because people that attended the taping said jury rated it negatively :/
I would’ve thought that the jury would like it, was there something wrong with the live performance? I guess it’s up the public now to carry it to the final.
We don’t know how the jury rated it in terms of points, but their comments were critical. Maybe they were suggesting changes, we’ll see today.
Well, we’ll have to see what happens tonight. If Ruta doesn’t make it through, it’ll be a really big robbery and put a dark cloud over the rest of the selection even if there’s other good songs that make it to the final.
I would’ve voted for Ruta if I were living in Lithuania, but I’m from America so I can only watch from a distance. Good luck to everybody tonight.
