TRIPLE QUEEN POWER! After weeks of buzz, it’s official: Paula Vázquez, Ruth Lorenzo and Inés Hernand will host Benidorm Fest 2025 — Spain’s national selection for Eurovision.
The announcement came straight from Madrid at a glam-packed press event hosted by RTVE, Spain’s broadcaster. And that’s not all—they teased us with even more surprises to keep the hype alive.
From January 28 to February 1, the Spanish preselection will light up our screens as these three reinas guide us through the show-stopping performances. By the end of the night, Spain’s next Eurovision star will have risen, ready to conquer the stage in Basel this May.
Meet Benidorm Fest 2025 hosts
Paula Vázquez
Paula Vázquez is making waves as the newest addition to the Benidorm Fest hosting lineup, bringing her signature flair to the stage! A familiar face to fans, she first wowed audiences back in 2007, guiding D’Nash to victory in the preselection ‘Misión Eurovisión 2007’. Recently, Paula made her grand return to public TV with hits like El puente de las mentiras and the heartwarming Gala Inocente Inocente. Now, she’s taking things up a notch as the host of the hottest show on the block: Bake Off: Famosos al horno.
Ruth Lorenzo
She’s back, and she’s taking over! Ruth Lorenzo, the stunning voice behind Spain’s 2014 Eurovision hit “Dancing in the Rain,” is returning to Benidorm Fest as a host. Her iconic performance in 2014 earned her a top 10 finish, and now she’s back to keep the magic alive. Ruth isn’t just a singer – she’s also a natural on the hosting scene! A couple of years ago, she became the face of RTVE’s Cover Night, sharing the spotlight with Ana Guerra and Abraham Mateo. And this last November, she hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Madrid with Marc Clotet and Melani García.
Inés Hernand
Third time’s a charm, right? Inés Hernand is also back after being part of Benidorm Fest’s launch in 2022 by hosting the Green Room with Máximo Huerta and Alaska. She must’ve had a blast because she returned the following year with Mónica Naranjo and Rodrigo Vázquez. This year, she’s taking over the stage as the host of Benidorm Calling with Jordi Cruz, plus co-hosting the post-gala with Aitor Albizua. But that’s not all – Inés shook things up in 2024 by stepping out of her usual hosting gig to tackle the challenge of MasterChef Celebrity… and she came out on top!
Along with these queens, there’s more to come! Lalachus and Aitor Albizua will host the post-galas, while Jordi Cruz, Masi, and Iban García lead Benidorm Calling. Expect familiar faces from Playz, plus a special pre-gala segment with candidate insights, performance details, and behind-the-scenes secrets.

I love LA PENA soooooo muchhhhh!
Ruth should represent Spain again! So talented!
I think they are making a mistake by turning Benidorm into a typical Eurovision national final. Instead, they should use it as a platform to select a song, similar to Sanremo. In Spain, it seems they are focused on finding ‘a song suitable for Eurovision,’ which is always the wrong approach to choosing a song.
To me, Ruth is a big yes, Paula could do it good, but Ines is a huge No, I find her really annoying
I can’t stop listening to K!ngdom. Me Gustas Tu is such a good feel dance pop song. I really hope it wins.
