Last week, Lithuania began its search for a Eurovision star by selected the first two finalists for Eurovizija.LT 2025. Now, the country continues its national selection with heat two of the competition. Only two of these eight new hopefuls will return to fight for the ticket to Basel on 15 February in Zalgiris Arena, Kaunas.
The show, as per usual this year, will be presented by Gabriele Martirosian, Nombeko Auguste and Rimvydas Cerniauskas.
Heat two includes a number of familiar faces to the Lithuanian and wider Eurovision audience. After a one year break, Petunija is back on the Eurovision selection stage following her fourth-place finish in the final of Pabandom is Naujo 2023 — this year, she is back with a folk-pop song, “I salduma.” Vilija, who represented Lithuania at Eurovision 2014 in Copenhagen with “Attention” is also back again, this time with an entry in the Lithuanian language called “Liesti negalima.”
If you want you can rewatch Heat two of Eurovizija.LT here on LRT’s website, as well as on LRT1 or LRT Lituanica.

What do you think of Eurovizija.LT 2025 heat two? Do you agree with the results? Let us know in the comments.
We will see the winner of E.LT in heat 4. Keep an eye on Liepa.
What makes you think that? Did you attend the filming of the heat?
Her song was on local radio. Everyone saying it reminds them of what Loreen does.
It premiered on the local radio. Will get officially released this Thursday. Very Loreen-esque and dancey. Written by the people behind ‘Luktelk’.
Apart from Petunija, there was nothing else to watch and listen to…
What a disappointing heat ?
I don’t really expect anything better in next rounds but I’d love to be pleasantly surprised before the final
Better to have low expectations and be surprised than to have high expectations and be disappointed.
This was Petunija’s semi final to lose and she’s in the final. It was never of question of if she’ll qualify much less win, the real question was who’s gonna join her. NOY was a bit random for me, but as long as Petunija made it, it didn’t matter.
Can’t wait for GØYA
Despite my initial doubt, I knew Petunija was gonna be one of the finalist through, and I’m glad she made it through. It was always gonna be a race of who was gonna join her and noy was not the one I was expecting. I will give credit that his song here is better than his previous entry, but it’s too stalkerish for me.
Lithuania is always surprising! Congrats to the finalists!
My top 4 so far:
Petunija
Justé
Noy
Anyanya
See you next week!
For Gebrasy ?
😉
The overly entitled creep song is going forward? Like no shade to NOY since idk how the lyrics come across to someone whose English may or may not be good enough to catch how bad those lyrics are, but woof.
Glad to see Petunja in the final though
Song 8 has potential. Great concept, but I didn’t like the speaking vocals (they’re just not to my taste). A giant cardboard face singing vocals to a Drop Chorus is a nice nod to all those Eurovision years when backing singers were hidden; perhaps not intentional, but it works. It also carries some symbolism when you think about it; I expect to see more “out there” art like this in 2025.
Petunija for sure and probably Jokubas…?
Ok so I would choose for the final song 4 for sure, and for the 2nd spot, song 1, 6 or 7.
Missed the first two, so can only comment on the last six. Song 3 seems the most robust (the start supersedes the repetitive end), and song 4 was great but probably less cross-european appeal. The rest… Fun but very dated.
Just? from last week still in the lead for me – crafted song telling a story.
Justë
Oh the Irish God is here
Ahhh… That’s Dr. God 🙂
Last song, song 8, wtf… what can I say, it’s special…and messy overall.
Great to see Vilija again after so many years. I have forgotten the song tonight though, which is not a good sign. (I’m only one person though.)
Song 7, I liked it, it kept me interested, even if the song is not very powerful, it was good.
Number 7 is also meh, outdated
Love Bug, love lyrics. “So don’t you even think of leaving until you forget your name.”
Haha, great.
Plus there’s:
“ As my hands explore, you’re not allowed to breathe.” Better hope those hands don’t explore Markus and Martinus then. (They can’t breathe without air.)
The general overview of the semi so far: sadness. While I find Petunija interesting, this attempt is much weaker than “Love of My Life”. Sadly, there is no competition in this semi, so I think she is safe. I’m about to write a whole article to LRT for the poor production they’re giving us. To you, foreigners, it may seem ok, but us, locals, are getting sick of this format. There is a lot of fuss on social media how badly they’re producing the selection this year: from selected songs (as if they were taking every song, which has a… Read more »
Do you think a non-qualification at Eurovision could be the impetus for change?
Song 6, cool, the visuals bring a great atmosphere, the chorus is a bit monotone and I don’t get this gestual but overall good.
A cat *and* a dog. Amazing!!
Atranka, atrankos.
I just watched Song 3 (I’m running behind).
Ohh I love piano songs like that, and Jokubas sounds like Rufus Wainright; very special voice. Bravo.
Song 5, well, she can sing very well but I’m not into the visuals, and again the chorus goes nowhere for me it’s a pity cause the verse and the pre chorus are good and the lalala is catchy.
Number 5 is a no…. Would not qualify anywhere…
I liked Petunija a looot , wow
Song 4, great, I’m sold, voice, lighting, atmosphere, would be a great finalist
Hopefully she does make it to the final. Don’t screw this up Lithuania!
Song 3, great voice, nice beat, the pre chorus is good, the chorus is too repetitive
Agree, agree, and agree. Would be a good Disney animation tune. Missed the first two. Sound seems better this week. Couldn’t hear the vocals over the track last week.
It was Legolas singing 😀
Lol!
Song 2, well performed again, the staging is very cool and interesting but the chorus feels too flat for me. I liked the staging more than the song.
Song 1, well performed, nice visuals, elevated compared to the studio version, I liked it.
Let’s go! Tonight Lithuania will have 4 finalists out of 10 already!
