Last year, Luxembourg, one of the original seven nations of the first ever Eurovision Song Contest, made a return after more than 30 years of absence, ending with an impressive 13th place in the grand final. And now, they’re soon to select their candidate to go to Basel in May.
Earlier, we asked you to vote for your favourite act to succeed Tali and fly the Luxembourgish flag at Eurovision 2025. You let us know loud and clear which candidate you believe will keep their streak going hot!
Laura Thorn is our readers’ favourite to win Luxembourg Song Contest 2025
With more than half the vote, the runaway winner is clear.
You have determined that Laura Thorn should win with her France Gall-inspired number “La Poupeé Monte Le Son”. She won the poll with 58.22% of the total.
In second place you have chosen the other French-language song in the mix, with Luzac’s “Je Danse” earning 14.35% of the total.
It’s co-written by one of the songwriters behind Nemo’s winning song last year — so this is an entry that could surprise.
And winning the bronze medal by one vote, it’s a returnee participant from last year’s national selection.
Rafa Ela is back again, this time solo. Her dance number, “No Thank You,” gathered 7.80% of the total vote.

It is the song I’m rooting for.
Loved the song on first listen…then I got tired after 2 listens…now I find it intolerable almost. It wears off so fast….unfortunately.
“La Poupeé Monte Le Son” is the most promising Eurovision song I’ve heard so far this year!
good luck to everybody tomorrow! May The best artist win.
Don’t you mean best song!
True, but that is very subjective
