By the end of Saturday, January 25, the line-up of confirmed Eurovision 2025 artists with confirmed songs had reached three. That’s after the Luxembourg Song Contest saw Laura Thorn named the country’s singer for Basel with “La poupée monte le son”

Her song, which pays homage to Luxembourg’s Eurovision 1965 winner France Gall, is a playful number about a woman taking control and turning up the volume, despite efforts to force her into the background. Laura is standing tall and slaying on her own terms. But does she punch harder than our previously confirmed acts from Albania and Montenegro?

That’s for you to decide. Review the three confirmed songs of Eurovision 2025 and then vote in our poll. You can support as many acts as you’d like, but you can only vote one time. Be sure to tick the box next to each act you’re voting for before pressing submit. It’s up to you Europe. Start voting now!

Poll: Who is your favourite Eurovision 2025 act so far?

Luxembourg: Laura Thorn with “La poupée monte le son”

Albania: Shkodra Elektronike with “Zjerm”

Montenegro: Nina Žižić with “Dobrodošli”

“La poupée monte le son” is my favourite so far. The lyrics are strong and fun and the whole package is wowza.

I really love “Zjerm”, it’s different and it’s good.

Nina is a competent singer and performer. I don’t like the song tho.

Luxembourg’s song sounds so dated and bland…

I like the Letzebuergisch song. It sounds retro and reminds of the old good times of Eurovision. Might appeal to older generations (I am 45 🙂

Dear wiwblogs, are you okey? Are you on some drugs or something?
We have 3 countries that picked their representatives (and all these 3 songs are yet to be revamped) and you ask us who is the best so far?
Seriously?

They’ve been doing this for years, adding more countries to the poll as the selection process continues. You must be new.

I’ve seen videos on YouTube with “My Top-1” when the montenegrin song came out. It blew my mind.

Come on, they do this every year. Every week when more songs get selected or released, they run a poll. Taste can change overtime.

Apparently those 3 songs are so far the Bottom 3 in the odds. That does not say anything of course. It’s critically early to say anything.

None at the moment, going by what’s been chosen so far, it’s going to be a bad year musically.

There’s 34 more songs to come, give this year a chance 🙂

Yes but quite a few of these 34 will be mediocre at best, that much is already clear. Many of the national selections are noticeably below their standard, let’s hope internally selected songs will improve the general picture.

I hope not. We’ve had several in a row. now. We need to get back to real singers with real songs and leave behind the dancers with catchy beats and nearly all the lead vocals on tape.

On which note I have just watched back Alexander’s performance on G Norton show, clearly lip-synching. What an effing disaster that was, let’s hope the BBC pick someone this year who can at least sing.

There is so much musical talent in the UK they should not be at the bottom all the time. They need to find someone with talent at spotting talent now to bring it all together.

Zjerm should be winning! How is Lux first in this poll its nowhere near as original and unique as Zjerm which i find miles apart in quality

Zjerm is my favorite so far, I can’t get it out of my head, but I really like the other two as well. I think it’s the first time ever that I like all of the first three entries of the year! It’s looking good so far 🙂

So far songs are at least decent which is a good thing considering what Montenegro sent in the past.
My clear favorite for the moment is Luxembourg. I have some difficulties to appreciate Zjerm but I can see the qualities of the song.

Not really winning against English if you’re writing in English.

I proudly have Montenegro in my first place. Nina is serving a great introspective ballad with meaningful lyrics and it annoys me that fans will act as “shocked” when she qualifies in May after they’ll have been ignoring her the whole season just like they did with Dons even if Hollow was always a quality song that was going to qualify, but underrated because fan-favorite “Kur” didn’t win.
