Another weekend of Eurovision 2025 selections means that we climb from three confirmed songs to seven. That’s after Greece, Belgium, Slovenia and Spain all conducted national finals to determine their winners. But can any of the new entries best Luxembourg’s Laura Thorn, who won our poll last week, from the top of the podium? That’s for you to decide.

Poll: What’s your favourite Eurovision 2025 act so far?

Greece: Klavdia with “Asteromata”

On Thursday, Greece’s EthnikosTelikos — the country’s first national selection in a decade — resulted in fan favourite Klavdia winning with her Greek-language ballad “Asteromata.” She’s got the voice, but many fans worry she does not yet have the staging.

Belgium: Red Sebastian with “Strobe Lights”

On Saturday, Belgium crowned fan favourite Red Sebastian in a landslide. His techno-rave song “Strobe Lights” earned more than four times as many televote points as its nearest rival, and twice as many jury points. The act comes with some very high-impact staging.

Slovenia: Klemen with “How Long Do We Have Left”

He’s a well-known singer, presenter, and even a former host of Slovenia’s national national final. And on Saturday Klemen became a Eurovision 2025 competitor after winning EMA 2025 with his song “How Long Do We Have Left.” During the heartfelt ballad, in which he sings about his wife’s struggle with an auto-immune disease, he briefly sang upside down.

Spain: Melody with “Esa Diva”

Her song is called THAT DIVA. And Melody proved she was both diva and queen as she literally sat on a throne (and even did a viral helicopter motion with her hair to bring it all home) during the final of Benidorm Fest. As ever, passionate fans are divided over the result barking either “Slay!” or “Eurovision cliché!”

So who is your favourite? Vote in our poll and let us know. You can vote for as many acts as you’d like, but you can only vote ONE time. Be sure to tick the box next to each song you want to support before hitting submit. Then let us know how you voted in the comments section.

Still more songs would be announce but hopefully another country rather than Sweden and Ukraine would be in top5 this year.
I didn’t like the songs of Ukraine’s preselection, by the way

15% of the fans think Esa Diva is the best so far. Must be Spanish fans. I still remember “ROSA FOR THE WONNING!” back in 2002.

The Slovenian and Greek entries have such heart and soul. People are being ridiculously harsh over Slovenia, as far as I’m concerned, his song is one of the most beautiful and touching so far.

It reminds me of Dons last year but hits a little different to me. If Dons could qualify, I think this is in with a shot with the songs we have so far.

I feel like this year’s Eurovision is shaping up to be a total snoozefest—no buzz, no hype, just straight-up “meh” vibes. Feels like the perfect setup for Israel to swoop in and snatch the win… unless Italy comes through with some magic to save us all.

“Shaping up to be a total snoozefest.” That’s what everyone says each year, but when the actual contest happens. That opinion suddenly takes a 180.

Exactly! After a few songs you always get the melodramatic responses that it is the worst Eurovision year ever. Judge Eurovision in May.

So funny to read that comment. It’s about time that Eurovision Song Contest goes back to be a song contest and not a circus.

It’s also sad, with the negativity and assuming that if Italy wins it’s for its quality but if others wins, it’s due to circumstances of others being worse… Also ironic per that comment about “snooze” that Italy indeed often brings quiet emotional ballads and specifically plenty among SanRemo competitors each year, which as you said for quality instead of the usual ESC circus, why I also love Italy.

Feels like a perfect setup to make more bitter conspiracy jealous comments. BTW huge TRUE SanRemo fan here and general Italian music. Yet to accommodate the “logic” applied to anything’s possible – it just might feel to others like a perfect setup for the routinely hyped Italy, or Sweden, Ukraine… let’s hope that instead of those usual pre-judgments, Israel and all countries will simply bring magic, quality songs, so that the winner will be worthy instead of a mediocare Italian song for example, music lover.

Unlike last year with Joost, Baby L and Maria S I don’t think we have a fan favourite yet. So far I like Luxemburg, Greece, Spain and i also think Nina Zizic has a beautiful voice, but the song needs more oomph. Belgium: he seems very kind and his falsetto is great, but the song doesn’t grab me… (a matter of taste)

I think we were spoilt last year with some of the fan favourites coming so much earlier. So far we have some good/very good songs but I’m waiting for some songs that the target more for me. There are some in the national finals still to come that could do that for me if they win. Still too this early year.

This doesn’t bode well – so far! Bland, bland, bland … Belgium, Luxembourg, Slovenia dodgy vocals … with no support of recorded backing vocals Luxembourg and Belgium would have been total disasters … what else … never mind! I suppose Greece is the only glimmer of hope – not my cup of tea, but not bad!

This is a disgrace, I recommend to have a controle of your ears. Maybe you have a real health problem if you say dodgy vocals about Red Sebastian. You don’t like dissonant vocals, that’s fine, but never tell such a lie. Some people shall I never understand, but even it is not your cup of tea, good music still is good music, what genre it may be. If it is classical, jazz, country, pop, rave, funk, … . Tomorrowland is not your cup of tea? No heart feelings, me neither, but there are every year several tens of thousands people… Read more »

For me it’s Greece so far. Head and shoulders above the others. I can see the potential of a couple of the other songs, but the Greek entry is sublime. Not saying its a winner, but currently it leads the pack for me (and for the public who are using the My Eurovision app). Sadly Slovenia is forgetful and bland. Montenegro just isn’t competitive enough. Spain picked something that’s giving ‘Zorra’ vibes. Belgium just agressively threw every emotion and noise in to a blender and went hell for leather with a club banger that goes well with poppers (and perhaps… Read more »

So far, Zjerm still hold a special place in the list. Everything here comes together to excel in the competition : orchestration, representation, lyrics and live vocals, attitude on stage… Shkodra Elektronike are hooking many to their cause next May. I think it has Ukraine 2021, Serbia 2022, Belgium 2023 or Ireland 2024 written all over it, maybe even more.
