On Friday, Ireland will choose its Eurovision 2025 singer during the final of Eurosong. And on Saturday Finland, Latvia, Malta and Ukraine will add more songs to the Basel mix.

Before this onslaught of five new songs enters the fold, let’s pause to see how things stand with our readers.

As of February 2, we knew seven of this year’s competing songs — the entries from Greece, Albania, Belgium, Spain, Luxembourg, Slovenia and Montenegro. We gave our readers five days to vote for their favourites and counted a total of 5,759 votes. Now the results are in…

Greece’s Klavdia is our readers’ favourite Eurovision 2025 act so far

Who is your favourite Eurovision 2025 act so far? (February 6)

1. Greece: 25.11%, 1,446 votes

2. Albania: 21.32%, 1,228 votes

3. Belgium, 19.78%, 1,139 votes

4. Spain: 15.80%, 910 votes

5. Luxembourg: 10.12%, 583 votes

6. Slovenia: 5.07%, 292 votes

7. Montenegro: 2.80%, 161 votes

Klavdia, Greece’s recently crowned queen, won the day with her song “Asteromata.” Her powerful vocals and the song’s strong sense of identity won over 1,446 of our readers, who gave her around one in every four of the total votes.

Hot on her heals were the Albanian duo Shkodra Elektronike. Ever since the semi-final allocation draw, fans have been screaming that Albania’s qualification seems more and more assured. Some have even said this act grows stronger as each new entry is revealed.

Rounding out our Top 3 is Belgium’s Red Sebastian with his techno-rave song “Strobe Lights.” Although the bookies have cooled slightly on him, he remains among the favourites to win the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

So what do you think? Is Klavdia the one to beat? Do Slovenia and Montenegro deserve to be at the bottom of the poll? Let us know down below…

Honestly, switch Montenegro and Slovenia and it’s my ranking exactly. That won’t last long, but I do enjoy being in step with the community for once.
