Ten acts will shine on stage during the 2025 edition of Vidbir on 8 February. But only one can fly the Ukrainian two-colour in Basel.

With all the songs out in the open, we asked you to choose your favourite from the competing acts.

You let your voices be heard, submitting 2,189 votes. After tallying up the results, we have a winner…

FIÏNKA is a favourite to win Vidbir 2025 with “Kul’tura”

Iryna Vykhovanets – alias FIÏNKA – returns to Vidbir this year. Two years ago, she brought “Dovbush” to the selection, and this year her song “Kul’tura” is also rooted in Hutsul culture.

She almost didn’t make it to the final after Vidbir‘s organisational committee eliminated her following the audition round. But, the Ukrainian public gave her a lifeline, selecting her through the Diia app wildcard vote to became the selection’s final contestant.

The Ukrainian singer continues to top the polls, this time with our readers. She won with 943 votes, or 43.08% of the total. Some commenters have called her new Vidbir bid a dark horse…

In second position, we see another Vidbir returnee. Ziferblat come to Vidbir 2025 with their song “Bird of Pray”. In our voting, they racked up 18.73%, or 410 votes. Unknown to most Ukrainians a little over a year ago, they have managed to collect the most Spotify streams on their song out of all contestants. Could this also translates into votes on the night?

Dropping down to third place, we have Masha Kondratenko with “No Time To Cry.” The songstress, who remains a favourite among many foreign Eurovision fans, earned 15.4%, which is 337 votes. But will she manage to be a real contender on Saturday?

Poll results: Who should win Vidbir 2025 in Ukraine?

  1. FIÏNKA – “Kultura” – 43.08% (943 votes)
  2. Ziferblat – “Bird of Pray” – 18.73% (410 votes)
  3. Masha Kondratenko – “No Time To Cry” – 15.4% (337 votes)
  4. Khayat – “Honor” – 8.82% (193 votes)
  5. Molodi – “My Sea” – 5.21% (114 votes)
  6. Abiie – “Dim” – 4.07% (89 votes)
  7. DK Enerhetyk – “Sil'” – 1.96% (43 votes)
  8. Krylata – “Stay True” – 1.32% (29 votes)
  9. Future Culture – “Waste My Time” – 0.73% (16 votes)
  10. Vlad Sheryf – “Wind of Change” – 0.68% (15 votes)

Vidbir 2025 will be held on 8 February. The winner will be determined through a jury panel vote and the voting of the public. For the first time in three years, SMS voting returns in addition to the Diia app voting.

Do you agree with the results? Do you think FIÏNKA has a chance of doing well in Vidbir 2025? Or do you think elsewise? Let us know in the comments down below!

weaker selection in ukraine this year, but masha stands out as the winner by a country mile, and would easily get top 5 in the grand final

I like Fiinkas song but I think there are still better options for Ukraine.

One more time a very strong Vidbir lineup. Congratulations !

None of these songs are strong; to be honest.

Couldn’t be sure which one is best because all songs of Vidbir this year sounds average and generic :/ But Ukraine would get good votes thanks to diaspora voting; no matter how gpod or bad its entry is.

No Time to Cry screams ESC winner.
Dim is 100% top ten material.
the rest are lame.

Grisana’s Kohoney clears them all and is also doing numbers, Vidbir producers were clueless to ignore it…

no idea who will win tomorrow but i think that ziferblat will be jurys darling.
2025 is the first vidbir year since 2018 where i can not find a good song for my taste in the final line up.

Fiinka is fine. But the song needs a revamp. EVERY entry for Ukraine needs work this year. Just nothing catchy at the moment. But I am pulling them to continue their qualification streak.

I don’t think it will actually be the winner. But like I said earlier I have no clue who’s gonna win tomorrow. We’ll have to wait and see.

I’ll be honest, I have no clue who’s gonna win for Ukraine tomorrow. It feels very open to me. When I did finally listen to them, no time to cry did emerge as the top of the pile, but my personal ranking just feels a little random to me. I don’t really have a strong favorite to gravitate towards, so I’m good with whatever wins.

Wiwi yaas queens voting for Fiinka en masse non-shocker. Ziferblat would be a solid option that would get Ukraine a similar result to Tvorchi. Masha with the right staging and obviously being able to pull off those vocals could give Ukraine another victory.

But does Ukraine really wanna win eurovision again, so soon after three years and with Russia still invading them? I think they won’t do well enough to be proud, but not perfect to grab the trophy.

I’d rather a Wiwi yaas queen over your pointless drivel any day 😉

I don’t really understand the hype behind this song. Verses are very good but the chorus is a complete let down to me. In the end I think the song is okay but I’m team Masha here.

I find the chorus of Bird of Prey rather annoying. So I hope it’s one of the others songs that will win.

Can I just say that DK Enerhetyk have made a great track. Reminds me very much of the late 80s/early 90s indie scene and something that I don’t think we have ever seen at Eurovision before. It’s very unlikely to make it, but it would be a brilliant pick from Ukraine.

Fans favourite and had to go through the wildcard round to even get a chance to compete. With that and Baby Lasagna I always have to wonder how many songs miss out every year without ever getting a chance.
