Seems that Finland would continue to send “different” entries in order to reach to the final; not focusing on musical quality.

Malta, “I’m serving c*nt.” Finland, “And I’m c*mming.”
This year’s ESC is for sure not going to be straight-laced and will be quite provoking.

Think this is the best song picked so far love when the chorus kicks in. I was hopeing for a bit more stageing wise. Its a tough one to call for Finland. Erika needs to go for it with a song like this. However lets face it there is a campy and almost rediculous vibe to her as a performer. It feels like a Carry on film when ever she is on screen. Hope this doesn’t ruin her chances with the jury’s.

So far you’ve commented with several names once again such as Jonas and David, I suppose you use name Roger soon?
I talked about this in 2024 when you were bashing Ukraine on constant basis while glorifying Croatia.

Is this your great plan to minimize competition? Are you going to not answer yet again?

I don’t get the hype… people are screaming „wow, amazing show!!“ but what show did they see? Did I miss something? Erika was only running from the back of the stage to the front, then back again and ended her performance on a golden microphone stand and thats it…is this years overall quality so bad that we call this kind of lazy performance „amazing“ now?

Sometimes performance can be powerful just with vocals and the way you present yourself rather than dancing, gimmics or tricks.

The song itself doesn’t give me immediate “winner vibes” but omg the show, the production, the quality of Erika’s performance and the whole UMK production is next level, Finland is soooooo ready to win the whole thing and I can’t wait for Eurovision in Helsinki someday soon. Will be rooting for Erika and I hope she gets a top 10 finish!

I can see this doing very well easy qualifier from the semis as it’s in 2nd half of 2nd semi which is more open than the 1st. Can see it doing well with public but won’t reach the heights of Karijja but left side of scoreboard is very plausible as the umk performance thankfully for me wasn’t too sexual for my taste like the music video.

So happy to finally see Erika at Eurovision. I’ve been a big fan of her music since mid-2020 and I really hope the staging for this can be elevated slightly more. The minimalist nature of it really works, but I do think she needs a couple people on stage with her.

Great song for Finland this year! But I guess the scene show/and/or outfit has to change to be more family-friendly according to the new rules. Someone would maybe say the undertone in the songtitle is almost too much already?

If people want family friendly they should just stick to junior Eurovision. Eurovision should be an adult contest and reflect the shift in music we see in the music industry… we need songs like Troye Sivans Rush, Sabrina Carpenters Hot to go and Kylie Minogue’s Padam Padam. Sex sells and it should be embraced, as a young gay guy seeing dizzy performed last year made me feel so liberated and free.

I agree… otherwise what is even the point of the junior contest?

I think a lot of people are missing the point here. With EBU’s new rules (which I personally not am a big fan of) we will probably see a less sexy and more family-oriented show this year. If I understand the rules right Erika V will probably have to do changes to fit into these. Also the lyrics (though in Finnish) leave very little for the imagination 😉

As much as I love wanted to watch the internet implode if someone else won – I’m ok with Erika winning. From the whole night it was only her and Goldielocks that were amazing. Though I think the staging needs to improve a bit – maybe some dancers? Larger stage would feel rather empty with just Erika alone, despite her commanding presence.

Maria N.
Maria N.

I don’t mean to insult the artist, but this is cheap. Is she powerful on stage? Yes, but so what? Goldielocks was 100 levels above that both in songwriting and staging. Performance isn’t everything. ESC winners almost always have a strong presence, song, AND some sort-of meaning behind their performance. So disappointing, Finland.

Oh no two Erika’s… When there’s a target group for this, it will be the same as Erika’s, both ladies are not the strongest vocalists and both songs have the same vibe. I think this one is a bit more catchy than ‘ich komme’ I’m not a fan of either one of them.

This is definitely potential winner of ESC 2025. Kaarija’s vocals were not good and he had to compete with someone who would probably win every edition with this voting format. We’ll see if Mans’ song will be the contender, but I see TOP 5 finish for Finland.

Although I have adored Erika’s 2020 entry, I’m quite torn on this one. The verses sound intriguing, then chorus destroys all the momentum built (with Are you sleeping Brother John rip-off).
It should get a good chunk of televote points, but I’d be reserved around these televote winner predicitions.
