Hot on the heels of the announcement of the 12 participants competing in Armenia’s national selection, Depi Evratesil 2025, Armenia’s national broadcaster AMPTV has revealed the twelve songs that the participants will perform.

Fans have eagerly awaited the return of Depi Evratesil after five long years, and this year’s lineup includes both former contestants and fresh faces. Returning artists include Athena Manoukian, who had won the national selection in 2020 with her song “Chains on You”. She is back for another shot at the Eurovision trophy after the contest in 2020 was cancelled.

Another familiar name is Anahit Adamyan, who had represented Armenia as part of a duo at Junior Eurovision 2016; she and Mary Vardanyan gave their country a second-place finish. We also have Kamil, aka Kamil Show (real name Arsen Grigoryan), who competed in Depi Evratesil 2018 as a solo act with the song “Puerto Rico”. This year, Kamil will perform both as her drag queen character and under his actual name. No word yet on what the song’s staging will look like, but it should certainly be creative.

Depi Evratesil 2025 will take place on 16 February at the Karen Demirchyan Complex in Yerevan, and the selection will be determined entirely through a public vote.

Now that the songs have been revealed, it’s time to let us know your favourite entry in our poll. Take a listen at the full lineup and then vote in our poll below.

Depi Evratesil 2025 Lineup

Poll: Who should win Depi Evratesil 2025?

You can vote for as many entries as you want, but remember that you can only vote once.

I only liked Athena and Anahit. I really hope Athena can finally go to Eurovision as Covid stole her chance.

“Survivor” really got me excited, but I had to check as I did suspect that there would be some Swedish involvement and sure it was. That disappoints me, but you cant blame the Swedes for being good songwriters. At least “Survivor” is more interesting than anything on offer in Mello this year so far.

I also like the songs “Tiny Little Boo” and “Prayer” – but the lyrics of “Prayer” are just not very well written. Not a huge fan of “DaQuennation”, but hopefully it will be good live – I do think Athena deserves a shot at Eurovision.

Ppl will vote either Athena or Parg (they’ve got no idea that Parg’s song is a Melfest reject and a bad copy of “Believe” by Imagine Dragons) or Flora (she was brilliant in a Russian popular vocal show (Lazarev and Philip Kirkorov were fond of her, even a scandal happened between them bcs Philip didn’t vote for another ethnically Armenian singer to save Flora). So, you missed a lot ? I personally hate Parg as he was dancing to Imagine Dragons after that group had a gig in Azerbaijan (despite being called to cancel their concert due to the ethnic… Read more »

Why people are soooo negative ? just chill guys.. Armenia has been selecting internally for last 4 years , return of depi is a difference at this point. I always loved and was interested in their national selections and i like this edition too. So many songs from here to listen ! And Athena being favourite is very normal and not disturbing at all , just remember what Malta just chose.I don’t get these comments. I’ll just enjoy watching this

Altsight for me all the way! Smashing song, one of the very best in the whole season for me!

The most average and basic generic song of them all – which could have come from any national final …

Sorry but you cannot compare any of these entries with Flora’s prayer. It’s our only chance of winning!! A meaningful song, Armenian elements, something that will stick with the public. And let’s not forget Athena’s voice does not come even close to Flora’s.

Still don’t understand what this Greek lady has common with Armenia? So annoying with her queen wannabe songs whe she’s isn’t but Xfactor reject and all her career is built on rumors she will represent Armenia.
Simon has the best song and he will give some fire when it comes to live performance.
Parg is very talented and nice guy to. Armenia has sent too many female singers. It’s time for gentlemen. Both Simon and Parg will represent Armenia with honor.

Armenia should indeed send more male artists to Eurovision I agree, but after 2025 as Athena needs to go this year and finish the business she started in 2020.

I was rooting for Athena, but there are two better songs. Her 2020 entry was by far better.
I really hope people vote for Flora (or Parg)

Many of casual voters think that Europe disinterested in listening to Armenian songs. They’re wrong. Its better to sing in Armenian than in broken English.

Which makes this all English language line up even more baffling. Armenia actually did well sending a song in their national language last year, so I can’t believe it’s being paid dust this year.

It’s actually a shame that Flora’s Prayer is the best song here – easily top 10 material – but we will make the mistake to send Athena, just because she is well known and to give her a second chance.

What is happening? In 2020 I disliked songs by Erika and Athena and now both ladies are back with songs I actually like? What is happening? Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies?! Rivers and seas boiling?! Forty years of darkness, earthquakes, volcanoes, the dead rising from the grave, human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together… MASS HYSTERIA!
Anyway – it’s a great selection. My favourites: Flora, Anahit & Gasoiia, Gevorg and Athena.

Flora has a potential top-10 song for Eurovision, it’s unbelievably perfect. Miles ahead of the rest. Plus, makes mostly great use of English, unlike aome other entries.

Everything about her song is a big no! Singing about being a queen and saying is a dure way to NQ. Her vocals ate not powerful, lyrics are bad, melody isn’t catchy, rap parts sre terrible. All in all, she should have come with a new material, not a song that’s similar to her 2020 song, with lyrics that made esc fandom gag in 2018. She is too little too late.

I don’t comment here a lot – in fact I think it never happened – but there is only one song with a good potention to go through to the finals and to finish in the top 5/10, if the show is good, the live singing is good and with a little revamp. Let me assure you all. I’m Armenian and I listened to all the songs fairly. I knew only Athena Manoukian (I hoped tbh that she was my pick) and Arsen, I did not know the rest. -Athena was ‘meh’ -Anahit Adamyan thinks she is in Junior Eurovision… Read more »

Armenia surprises me like every year – what a strong and diverse line-up! In my opinion, Parg is the right choice. A very heavily instrumentalized, dark song with a scratchy voice and the beautiful duduk – I’ve never seen anything like it from Armenia. With the right staging, this will definitely blow a lot of people away in Basel.

I also think Athena is pretty good but I could see this song going down in the same semi-final as Finland and Malta.

Simon and Flora would also be good options to reach the final.

team “hey man” – true music art,a rare thing at the ESC and the best ballad of the season so far.
the voice color sounds a little bit like an older woman voice but it is a male voice – very interesting.
