After a weekend that saw five national selection shows, we now have 12 publicly confirmed and performed songs for Eurovision 2025.
Ireland kicked things off on Friday when it named Norwegian singer EMMY as its winner. She’ll sing “Laika Party,” a song that rewrites the tragic history of the Soviet space dog Laika.
On Saturday night we looked east. Finland’s UMK saw fan favourite Erika Vikman suggestively work a microphone stand en route to winning with “ICH KOMME.”
Over in Ukraine Ziferblat won a competitive Vidbir with “Bird of Pray.” And in Latvia Tautemeitas shocked the pre-contest favourites to book their place in Basel.
We finished the night in the Mediterranean, where Malta’s Miriana Conte served “KANT” and left a continent gagging.
But who is your favourite Eurovision 2025 act so far? Do any of these acts top your list? Or are you sticking with one of the earlier entries?
You can vote for as many countries as you’d like but you can only submit your votes ONE time. Be sure to tick the box next to each act you’re choosing before pressing submit.
Poll: What’s your favourite Eurovision 2025 act so far?
Dear ESC fans, I am one of you. I have my top 5 ready.
12 points go to: Austria
10 points go to: Israel
8 points go to: the Netherlands (my own country)
andaKANTa
Shndrit shndrit shndrit!!!
None of them, maybe Greece, Erika has a very good performance but the song itself is not that good. Zjerm: not my kind of music, Luxembourg, very sweet performance and nice song, but not a winner. Belgium,
decent but , it doesn’t grab me etc.
The fact that any of top 5 last year would have easily won this year.
I would rather have ESC cancelled than having Israel winning.
Finland is the best of this lot , Bon Jovi’s living on a prayer similarity,
The current top 2, Finland and Malta are worthy of being the top 2 of the 69th edition lol
I’m going to use a quote of Novastar, Belgian singer/songwriter.: The Best Is Yet To Come… Hopefully! Cause right now…No!
I feel the same way.
Shndrit… Shndrit… Shndrit… ?
Ok my ranking so far: 1. Latvia – y’all are still salty about The Ludvig not winning, and that’s understandable, but in no world does this beautiful song and staging package deserve to be so low in the polls (3rd from last as I’m writing). 2. Greece – needs some elevated staging but the song cannot be denied. 3. Finland – it’s fun and iconic and we are sticking it to the puritans who claim women’s sexuality is somehow dirty. 4. Malta – the staging for MESC was a bit messy, but they have plenty of time to tidy that… Read more »
Love seeing Albanai this up!!! Have to misspell it because apparently Wiwi thinks that’s a slur
Can we talk about the fact that there are more native languages songs in this list of 12 entries than in the entire list of 40 songs that competed in 2015? So great to see how much more diverse Eurovision has become in the last decade
Or more nationalistic..?
(BTW I also like the fact that more countries sing in their native language, but not sure you can relate that to a desire for diversity)
I hope a good song wins not an ambiguous performance. I also hope we haven’t heard the winning song yet. But at this moment I’m a bit disappointed, Greece and Luxemburg are okay.
Only Greece
Agree
Serving Kant
All I can say this time last year Bambi Thug was splitting the vote and people calling it demon witchcraft – won’t qualify bottom of the heap – it ended up 6th
Doesn’t matter what you lot think or say – it never matters
Ever
It matters because the eurofans vote and as far as I know, they vote a lot (Their votes can influence the outcome, no data to back up how much though).
Belgium
Honestly – none have been interesting or good enough for me to download yet. There are a couple I don’t mind, but at this stage they are rather forgettable. Let’s see what the revamps do.
Wow sally you’ve never seen to a euro club then ever lol or a dance club because if u had or have Laika Party Would be up there
No, I’ve never been to a Euro Club. And my life is not lesser because if it.
Same here, so far my ESC 2025 Spotify playlist is still empty unfortunately.
Luxembourg, honestly
Alb still number one for me
Finland.
Of course tonight is the night we hear Italy’s song, but for at least the next hour, still Finland.
Shndrit shndrit shndrit shndrit…
Malta 12 points.
I think this year there would be less ballad songs
Loving Latvia and Luxembourg this year my two favourites so far
I hope Sanremo 2025 songs would be good today 🙂 Otherwise, among the selected songs so far, only Greece’s song is good.
Did we just discover Fabian aka Michael aka Thomas aka David’s nationality?
Hoping you will this time answer why you spam multiple hateful messages using different names to certain countries? 🙂
Haha the plot thickens….!
I agree and I like Luxemburg for the Nostalgia.
I also only like Greece xD sry not sry
shndritë
1 ISRAEL
2 La poupée monte le son
3 Asteromata
4 Zjerm
5 Bird of Pray
6 Dobrodošli
7 Ich komme
8 Bur man laimi
9 Kant
This is why I stopped using this site.
How can you post a comment without using the site?
My thought exactly
Finland probably, but no song has made to my playlist so far
It used to be a song contest, hopefully juries are gonna save this year
My current top:
1. Luxembourg with the nice song about une poupée. Nothing to do with Luxembourg itself. a beautiful country indeed, but that can translated for doll or bubah or p?pu??/papusa or Puppe.
This being said, I do raise my voice up and scream with all my being NOT YOUR TOYS!!
F RE E ALL THE K H AT U FI M NOW!!!!!!!!!
2. Greece
3. Montenegro
4. Latvia
Greece as a personal favourite, but I’ll give the trophy to Finland
I believe this could be one of Malta’s best years for televoting. With the semi-finals being decided solely by the public vote and considering the country’s disappointments in past years, this might be the perfect opportunity for a turnaround
Somehow I don’t think so. Just my personal opinion. It’s a catchy song, but it’s average. Miriana doesn’t sound good live and the whole performance comes across as cheap. I don’t think the televoting public will be impressed by this. It gives me last place vibes.
Someone in Greece hasn’t woken up yet
It’s a poll on our favourites, not what you hate or how miserable you are about Eurovision 😀
Thank you.
The Devil on my shoulder says Finland… The Angle says Ireland…. Devil always wins out 🙂
They don’t care about me he other yet.
Always trust your devil
*Angel
**They don’t care about the others yet.
*** Still can’t type 🙁
The angle of your comment was still clear 🙂
Haha… It’s these square shoulders of mine 🙂
All the sex fiends not getting any voting in this pole is hilarious. ?
What’s a sex fiend?
Sex fiend.. Sounds like a compliment to me, so I guess it’s me
Finland lol ? Really ???? Ahah i could hear an ironic « claa-sssy – ho – ney » in my head lol
I’m too old for Eurovision apparently. Or maybe just for Wiwibloggs fandom ? Most folks tend to seem to root a little bit out of the box. But I just think this is crass and obnoxious. {{ducks?!}}}
Haven’t been as connected with ESC this season as I was before. Usually in full on hype mode now but this year (and last year) I’m just not.
I have listened to a few entries though and although it probably won’t win, I can see it being a fab favourite and probably the breakout meme song of the year, especially due to that hook, but I’m quite loving Malta so far.
I’m not that hyped for it this year either.
I think many fans aren’t hyped this year, myself included. All of last year’s drama have made damage.
Wow, gays really like trahsy songs and performers. Sometimes I wish I weren’t gay. lol
Jeez you need to lighten up!
Laika Party
I bet the staging will be fun!
Malta is terrible, idk why so many people love it, there is absolutely empty generic song which has nothing but “serving kant” part.
I absolutely agree ! This will be another NQ for Malta.
Wow ?
Malta is definitely qualifying with that double meaning hook.
No way will people not vote for that in a 100% televote situation.
Absolutely no chances against Erika Vikman and Athena Manoukian (very likely the winner in Armenia).
Tbh I sometimes like this kind of song just because “Yaaasss, slay queen” even if it deosn’t bring anything really interesting in the contest but in this case the live performance is a complete mess. She had my favorite song of their selection but if I was Maltese I would never have voted for such a terrible performance… everything was bad: vocals, staging and outfits.
I hope she will improve a lot otherwise I can’t see this surviving the semi final.
Stop the yearly hate for Malta. Unbelievable
Greece, but I‘m curious for France. Ím not into Ich Komme and Zjerm and Strobe Lights, too much screaming
Theres literally no screaming in zjerm
For me the voice of the lady is screaming, it’s too sharp for me.
Belgium and Finland are tied for first for me.
Agree with Belgium, Finland not so much.
Asteromata is the best. Amazing vocals, passion, power, ethnic elements, the beat and percussion, the lyrics. Excellence
Brilliant song.
All of them are average and bland 🙁
Finally someone with ears.
These are all awful. I can listen to Montenegro, but it’s still not something I’d willingly play.
Misery attracts misery!
Finland. But to call it a winner this early.. I can’t. Too many songs to be revealed.
I can’t make a comment without getting a negative response.. Amazing.
Yeah, I start to think that maybe those who are downvoting everything are people that actually never comment. But we give way too much attention to those down and upvotes. We shouldn’t care even a little bit.
You don’t internet much do you? Why do you care what anybody thinks?
The way people react is a reflection of who they are.
I mean, you’ve trashed Finland recently. People might not think you really mean this
There are so many great songs, but Zjerm and Asteromata live rent free in my head (same for Kultura by Fiinka, but can’t vote for that), so voting for them.
Kant number 1.
My TOP 12 of the “Eurovision Song Contest 2025” (so far, updated): *1. Latvia – “Bur Man Laimi” (10/10) 2. Finland – “Ich Komme” (9/10) 3. Alb an ia – “Zjerm” (9/10) 4.
