Poland. Estonia. Lithuania. Norway. Armenia. And maybe Italy. This week’s new Eurovision entries take us up to 18 (almost) confirmed songs for Eurovision 2025.

Why the maybe? Well at the time of publishing this poll, Italy’s Sanremo winner Olly was still debating whether he wants to go to Eurovision with his song “Balorda nostalgia.” We’re including him in the poll for now. If he decides not to go, we’ll remove him from this poll and include the confirmed Italian act next week.

Last week Finland’s Erika Vikman took the crown, with Malta’s Miriana Conte in second. Can any of the newcomers knock these queens from the throne? That’s for you to decide.

You can vote for as many countries as you’d like. But you can only vote ONE time. Be sure to tick the box next to every country you want to support before pressing submit.

Poll: Who is your favourite Eurovision 2025 act so far? (17 February)

So who did you vote for and why? Let us know in the comments box below!

A powerful punk rock that will hopefully win Dora of Croatia tomorrow evening. Vocally superb, energetic and attractive.

There’s a possibility he may not actually go at all because he’s got sold out tour dates in May that could conflict with Eurovision. That could be a legitimate reason to turn down the ticket if he’s honoring prior professional commitments.

The same thing here. Well, I’m really happy for Tommy and Estonia. Now I’m looking forward to the participants from Portugal and Italy (hopefully Lucio, although I like Olly too).
Other than that, meh.
I tried listening to the Croatian and Serbian songs and it feels like there’s no top 5 contender among them.

The fact is that back in 2022 the only very energic and fun acts in the final were Moldova and Norway. As fun as Norway was, it didn’t have the same impact as Moldova’s performance. This year I can already see a few songs competing with Estonia or overshadowing it.

It seems the Irish Independent newspaper has challenged RTE about the eligibility of the song. Following a “songwriting camp”(!) in Norway, this, allegedly with 100 or so other songs, WAS submitted to Norsk MGP, and clearly not accepted. There is an unconvincing “explanation” from RTE. I don’t like song-shopping, so this is a rulebreaker for me. Gives the message if your own country doesn’t want your song, send it somewhere else. Regardless of the Irish/Russian co-writer, I think this would have been in Norway’s selection if accepted.

There is one country already out of the top 10 in this poll that I’m 98% sure will do a solid to 10 in Basel, I won’t name it. On the contrary, I see not less than 6-7 countries currently in the top 10 of the 18 known songs, that won’t make it to the actual top 10 in the end 🙂 Signed: an arrogant boy who’s actually quite… Read more »

A hostage is someone who is dragged, often shot and injured, from e.g. a Music festival or from their house in their pyjamas like 4 yr old Ariel Bibas.

At this point we’ll have to count on the internal selection entrees to bring it to increase the overall quality this year. The national final winners have been underwhelming… There’s a lot of mid-quality and meh acts so far, with only 2 or 3 acts who have potential to make the top 10..

If we look at probabilities, about half of the top 10 is likely to be made of songs that have already been selected/released. This doesn’t even take into account that there is quite a number of still unresolved national selections that clearly don’t have the potential to produce a top 10 entry. I wonder if someone ever analysed the correlation of songs’ final rankings and the order in which songs were released/selected during the season. If we can say with statistical significance that songs revealed/selected later in the season tend to fare better, then there is still hope that we… Read more »

Can somebody tell me what happened with Belgium? I thought Red Sebastian was an anticipated winner and he was the reason why Belgium was top1 in odds. Now Belgium is falling in the odds, fandom treats Stobe lights rather cold (look i.e. at this poll). What is going on? Bookies and fans preferred Mentissa?
