They might be one of the smallest nations in Eurovision, but they’ve had one of the biggest selection contests of the season. And now, San Marino Song Contest 2025 has come to a conclusion.

The grand final saw 20 acts competing for the opportunity to wave the Sammarinese flag in May. Ultimately, it was Italian DJ Gabry Ponte who took the trophy, with the banger “Tutta L’Italia.”

Ponte originally created the anthem to be the official theme song of Italy’s Festival di Sanremo 2025.

San Marino Song Contest 2025: Grand final results

The decision on who won was made entirely by a jury.

  1. Gabry Ponte – “Tutta L’Italia”
  2. The Rumpled – “You Get Me So High”
  3. Teslenko – “Storm”
  4. Elasi – “Lorella”
  5. Boosta – “BTW”
  6. Besa – “Tiki”
  7. CRL – “Juliet”
  8. Giacomo Voli – “Ave Maria”
  9. Questo e Quello – “Bella Balla”
  10. Paco – “Until the end”
  11. Pierdavide Carone – “Mi vuoi sposare?”
  12. Marco Carta – “Solo fantasia”
  13. Angy Sciacqua – “I”
  14. Haymara – “Tómame las manos”
  15. Silvia Salemi – “Coralli”
  16. Bianca Atzei – “Testacoda”
  17. Vincenzo Capua – “Sei sempre tu”
  18. King Foo – “The Edge of the World”
  19. Taoma – “NPC”
  20. Luisa Corna – “Il giorno giusto”

Tutta l’italia would probably be the bottom of the top or top of the bottom. I think it sounds great. I understand everyone opinions about the staging but maybe Euro could fix that and pay a bit less attention to Gabry. Then it would go a bit higher

To all those criticizing, we alread had a DJ on stage with another one singing. LUM!X feat. Pia Maria in Turin 2022.

I know the close connection between San Marino and Italy, but still… I don’t know how I would feel if my country sent a song glorifying another country in an international contest…

You wrote it was strange for a country to send a song glorifying another one. But here we have a song mocking another country. I think it is worse, isn’t it?

Actually if France for example sent a song saying Viva Italia you can be sure there will be a terrible terrible response. Just San Marino is to small to care maybe. You can mock a country and that’s bad. I am not going there. You send an representative of your country glorifying another one, it can be interpreted as many many things, where even leaves space to interpret the message of the sovranity of that country. Let’s have Serbia sending sth like Viva Albanai and see world war 3. I hope I made my point clear

Probably you don’t understand the closeness of San Marino and Italy. It’s an enclave in the italian territory. We have thousands of years of vicinity and economical, political relations. What the hell do you mean with that. You are comparing apple with oranges. Before writing study a little bit the history.

Vincenzo
Vincenzo

Reply to  Vincenzo

I understand a French would be estranged if France would send the song “Tutta l’Italia” but here we are speaking of two very close countries. And one doesn’t have a long and important musical scene or background. But in San Marino they are used to listen everyday to Italian music, italian radios overlap the border. So there is no problem. That’s why I don’t understand your comment.

I agree

The focus should be more on the singers and staging than Gabry jumping around miming. If they do that then they have a decent shot at qualifying.

the song is awesome, very cool and fun!

But the staging needs to be scrapped. All the camera shots to Gabry jumping around means NQ. it happened before; Darude, Poland 2018 and Austria 2022.

Please someone fix their staging. Add more dancers playing with Italy’s stereotypes. Make it fun! Gabry doesn’t have to be on stage.

Everything is focused on the DJ – who does nothing. Very little attention is paid to the men who are actually singing the song or the musicians playing it (or miming playing). Makes the whole thing feel so completely insincere.

2025 is producing new and fantastical realities…imaging a world where San Marino is in my top 10 but Italy is not…well it’s here and now. Great choice for San Marino but let’s be real DJs at ESC do not have a great track record and are presentationally challenged. This needs a massive glow-up for Basel and fire the ‘vocalist’ who cannot sing the song…was he masked out of shame? This song has absolutely massive potential…if done right this could win the televote… so please don’t waste the opportunity to go big with the fun factor (and don’t forget the vocals).

Very few understand musical quality, the composition, the fact one can play 4 instruments and can write his own songs, the lyrics contents. The only thing they want is a bop to dumbly shake their heads and move their booties. Then you understand why elections go in the way they go sometimes. The worse politicians are elected. Nobody has critical sense anymore and don’t even understand a written text. Putin has already won

Wasn’t this song also theme music of Sanremo 2025? 🙂
The theme music of Sanremo 2025 is way better than the winner song of Sanremo 2025 and 2nd placed song 🙂
Even San Marino TV understood the logic of which songs are liked at Eurovision but RAI couldn’t understand it and sending Lucio Corsi

Why RAI didn’t choose this song which was also theme of Sanremo 2025? What a mistake.

It is funny and sad that this song was way better than Italy’s entry this year and also better than almost all Sanremo 2025 songs.

Vincenzo

I would vote anytime for a song like Lucio’s Corsi but never for a song like Tutta l’Italia. Tutta l’italia doesn’t move me, Lucio Corsi song (and many of his previous ones), does. But the 90% of the Eurovision audience (better, mostly here on the poisoned comment section of wiwibloggs) are brainless clones who only appreciate absong when it is stupid, talentless and repetitive. Probably they have never listened to any classical music when they were young (or even later) so they can understand a little bit quality and what quality is made of.

I rewatched it a bit and it seems Maury created the famous melody, Jeffrey (the singer) wrote the lyrics and Gabry enhanced it production-wise (although Maury doesn’t seem to agree and won’t credit him for it, hence the bad break up).
